A couple years back my friend took his then 13 yr old son to see Steph, ended up ponying up for Courtside seats and everything. Of course Steph ended up sitting but my friend's son brought a sign saying something to the effect of Steph being his fave player and when Steph saw it he came over and signed some things and talked to my friend and his son. Really cool gesture and something he didn't have to do.

If I was AG I'd be real selective on the job I took and had a relatively good idea of the leash I would have and timeline Id have to see my vision through cause it may be his only chance at one. Defensive minded coaches seem to not get as many chances as their offensive counterparts so if he fails right off the bat and gets canned after a year or so there is a decent chance he may never get another head coaching gig.

Pacers with the unbreakable record!

All things being equal I'd like either an interior o lineman or d lineman. Continue to build the team from the inside out.

So there's a chance he makes it back for the NBA Finals?

Pistons currently 8.5 point favorites on the road, when is the last time that has happened?

To me the one game I feel most confident about is Baltimore over Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh just looks like a mess of late and according to metrics like DVOA Baltimore has not only been the best team in the league this year but one of the best in the last 30 some years. I think that one could be a massacre..... which means Pitt will probably end up winning. Wouldn't bother me, I'd rather not have to face Lamar and Henry in the Super Bowl.

Yeah for sure. It's always funny though how if you go from say projected 6 wins to 10 people put more stock in it than going from say 11 to 15 even though you overachieved by the same amount of wins. Like the Lions for instance had an over/under of 10.5 going into the year and that of course couldn't of factored in all the injuries or a team like Minnesota being so much better.

Is there a reason why they couldn't just have half the teams get a bye in say week 8 and the other half in week 9? You're still going to get 18 regular season weeks of football, sure those 2 bye weeks will feature less "local games" since there will only be 8 games total each week but maybe you can make up for any lost revenue in that by bidding out some Saturday Night Prime Time games?

I remember thinking that it would take a semi miracle to get to 30 wins, I guess I underrated how bad many other teams are this year and just how negative of influence the coaching has been the last few years. Bickerstaff looks like Red Auerbach compared to Monty and Casey.

Ausar with 5 steals in just 10 minutes of action tonight.
