The Giants are intriguing. Dart in his second year, Andrew Thomas, healthy Nabors and Skattebo, and a loaded defensive line. My problem with the Giants is that Schoen is on the hot seat.
I would bring back Schwartz as DC. There is precedent for that, look at Vance Joseph. Ownership and management are completely different from when Schwartz was here. This is a completely different organization.
Kingsbury is out as offensive coordinator in Washington. That got me thinking of another coach on their staff, David Blough. Blough was considered an up and comer in the coaching ranks. Holmes and Campbell has a lot of respect for him as they always tried to keep him on the practice squad because they liked him in the film room. Jumping from assistant QB coach to offensive coordinator is quite the job. Maybe pass game coordinator with a track to offensive coordinator? It seems like a good fit.
Now is the time to make the play for Hendrickson. Coming off injury if you can work in a one year prove it deal. Problem is Hendrickson had always wanted a multi year deal.
With Zac Taylor going back to Cincinnati, what about Brian Callahan as offensive coordinator? He was the Lions QB coach during Caldwell when Stafford went from more of a gunslinger to a pure passer.
