Dan Campbell was the hire I was least enthused about but the decision to hire Campbell has grown on me. Being that he isn't a play caller, the coordinators should have more autonomy and Campbell doesn't have a system. Even the Lions had a defensive coordinator, the system was Patricia's. The players were brought in to fit Patricia's system. Since Campbell doesn't have a system, I feel the Lions can build a system around the talent they have.

Kenny Golladay has been underwhelming in New York. He was also seen shouting at would appeared to be the QB Daniel Jones but Golladay says he was yelling at offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.

When he forces a ball downfield to a well covered receiver and throws a pick, it will be poor decision making. You have one 4th round receiver and a bunch of undrafted free agents and 6th and 7th round picks.

I would. If you can get 3 1st round picks, I would use one to draft a WR and the other two on defense. It would set you up well for 2023. It gives you another year to assess Goff and you still have the draft capital in 2023 to trade for a QB if you need to.

Unless the Lions have a QB prospect like Lawrence available to them without trading, I would not look for a QB and use the two 1st rounders on defense. The OL is good, RB are good, Hockenson is developing into a top TE, the offense isn't that far behind.

I wasn't expecting to see triple digits. A creative manager could also use him as a pinch runner and defensive replacement provided his defense and baserunning hasn't declined significantly since he was in Detroit.

The Packers have done that to every team.

The defense isn't going to get stops so you have to go for it and score TDs.

I mean, that was after they got a 1st down. They just can't seem to get an actual stop when they need it.

When was the last time this defense just came up with a big stop?

I don't mind the 2nd run if they did a no huddle. Ultimately, it worked out because the Packers got the ball back with no time.

Goff was even on the mark with these incompletions.
