If you were out somewhere by yourself or with your family, and attacked by guys with weapons what would you do? Would defending yourself and family really be considered vigilante justice? To not do wrong by the people attacking you would you let them beat and possibly kill you? It sounds like this is what you think Rittenhouse should have done.

Nothing I have seen yet. They're not saying a lot. There is a name of a suspect circulating on the internet but don't know where it came from or if its even right.

I don't get all the hate and negativity toward Rittenhouse. Sure you can say he shouldn't have been there but the same can be said about the rioters and the people who attacked him. I've heard people say the two guys would be alive if Rittenhouse stayed home. Once again they would also be alive had they stayed home. Was Rittenhouse looking for trouble? I don't really think so but the rioters for sure were. Rittenhouse did what he had to do to stay alive and safe. Would all the people condemning him not fight back if they were attacked? What if their family was attack. Would they tell them to take a beating or a bullet because that is the criminals right because they were protesting? When a person is under attack and their life is in danger they have every right to use any means neccesary to survive. He did just that.

I would rather they go with a second tier SS than overpay for one of the others especially for a long time. There was talk about A. Simmons being available and I think I would take him for a year or maybe two.
-
How can that be? It just ruins the liberal and MSM narrative.
-
It was a felon with gun meaning he had the gun illegally. They are still looking for him.

I hope they can pull off signing Correa. I wouldn't mind Seager either but I haven't heard anything about him and the Tigers talking like we have Correa and Semien. I just can't get excited about Semien, Story or Baez.

Sorry buy you offer absolutely nothing which is the same as your political party does for the US. Why don't you give your mom her laptop back and let her comment and come back when you grow up. Until then I have no choice but to ignore you.

Well I googled your claim and guess what I found? Nothing except a distant photo that might show the OK sign. The same sign that Obama, Clinton and millions of other have used over the years. I don't know why I wasted my time because you have never provided useful information.

Election security is not voter suppresion. Nobody is being told they can't vote and polls are open longer. Its funny the democrats talk about wanting to save democracy but nothing will destroy it faster than elections with no integrity. Democrats want 100% mail in ballots, with no controls in place to know who voted or how many times they voted. They managed to get the worst two candidates to the WH elected by that system so they want to continue it. The democrats say election laws are racist because people of color don't have ID, can't afford ID or don't know how to get an ID. What's bad is democrats actually think so little of people of color.

My comments are based on what the media and Biden (and other politicians) said before the trial. Biden and others had no basis for calling him white supremist or racist and only inflamed the situation. When did innocent until proven guilty end in the US?

You're jumping to conclusions...The Chauvin verdict wouldn't have been any different if that guy wasn't on it. That trial was as obvious as the Rittenhouse trial if not more. However a guy lied to be on jury so yes there was a problem. I haven't heard anymore on this or if there is an appeal involving it. The guy should face charges for lying so he wouldn't be disqualified from selection. He probably lied so he could do justice but in the end he might be the reason the verdict would be overturned and a new trial granted. Even if that was to happen I wouldn't expect a different verdict.
-
I'm sure someone somewhere questions the Chauvin verdict, but the overwhelming majority agrees with it. I think most trials are like that. There will always be someone who disagrees with it. The only problem with the Chauvin jury is the one guy who lied about his involvement in protests and such during selection. After the trial was over pictures of him were found at protests and wearing a shirt with a saying supporting BLM or so something like that. That guy should face charges for lying during selection. I also think there are appeals over the trial and that could have an impact on those appeals.

I don't know about other states but in Michigan you need to be 12 years old to possess a long gun. How many kids do you see walking around with rifle? Unless it hunting season and you're in the back woods you probably haven't seen a single one. As for a semi-automatic, most firearms are semi-automatic. One trigger pull=one bullet fired. We are no longer in the powder days where it takes a couple minutes to reload after firing or even single load firearms. Speaking of misinformation, I saw one guy in the crowd interviewed after the verdict yesterday saying he can't believe our laws allow people like Rittenhouse to carry an automatic AR-15 and go around shooting people. People like this just make themselves look like fools on camera because its obvious that they don't know what they are talking about. The media and uninformed politicians have caused this by the false information they've put out on AR-15 rifles.
-
Let's not forget that Biden also called him a white supremist. I hope Rittenhouse sues him and the media for defamation. He could be a rich man like Nicholas Sandman. There is a ton of misinformation about this case in the media and some of it ends up on this forum. These so called news outlets should at least report the truth because their false info inflames people. There was one media outlet, I believe they are British, that said after the verdict that Rittenhouse shot three black people.
-
Well said! It very unfortunate that people don't respect the system. We even have the POTUS and other well known political figures like De Blasio disagreeing with the verdict. You would think they of all people would know better. It makes me afraid of what this country has become. Innocent until proven guilty doesn't mean anything to some people anymore. Then when they are proven not guilty it doesn't fit their narrative so they disagree with it.

Maybe Carlos is trying to get Hinch to come back to Houston?

Why didn't he belong there anymore than any of the protestors? His father lived Kenosha. A lot of the violent protestors didn't have ties to Kenosha so why is Rittenhouse any different? The whole case is a lot of what ifs. What if the people would have protested peacefully? What if the rioters didn't attack Rittenhouse? What if the police and National Guard would have done a better job of keeping the peace? For some reason rioters get special privledge. The best thing would have been that everyone should have stayed home instead of destroying a city over an issue before it was even investigated to find out what really happened.

I think they do. There are several people saying there is one already signed and they're waiting to announce. I don't know how true that is but I think they have who they want in their sights and they are going for him.

It was the right verdict and the only verdict that could be reached with all the video evidence. I don't know how you or anyone could think he was unprovoked. He was the victim and he was defending himself. If he didn't defend himself he would have been seriously injured or killed. I do agree with you on one point is that the prosecution didn't do a good job. That prosecutor was an embarrassment with all the lies and BS they were presenting. I think someone above the prosecutor made them bring charges and the prosecutor knew he had no case and no chance of winning.

Taylor was hanging out with a bad crowd which she was part of. If her drug dealing boyfriend or whatever he was didn't shoot first at the officers she would be alive today. Unless of course she wasn't killed in other violent acts with the group she is part. The cops did nothing wrong. They returned fire when fired at. They didn't shoot first They were vilified because they returned fire at (gasp) a black guy who shot at them first. The boyfriend should have been charged with her murder because she died during the commission of a crime he was committing. Instead the democrat leaders went after the officers because they are easy targets and gave the actual criminal millions of dollars to continue his criminal ways. There's a theme here with democrats because they want to pay the illegal invaders on our southern boarder $450k to make them feel better. Its all ridiculous and no wonder law and order in the US is a thing of the past. That's why we have millions of people armed on the streets.
-
But Joe Biden said in his best demented whisper voice..."It doesn't cost anything." So Biden lies to the the country and says this socialist spending spree is free but in reality adds hundreds of billions to the deficit. It doesn't sound so free to me. Somebody has to pay for it and it will be us through higher taxes.

If anyone here is a troll it would be you. You never add anything to a conversation and most of what you post is incorrect. You should give your mom her laptop back.

The last thing we need is a bunch of whack jobs telling the police what they can and can't do. They do a fine job for the most part except there isn't enough of them. The best way to avoid problems with the police is to not break the law. The police don't bother law abiding citizens.

When you become an American then you can talk shit about our country.
