What it came down to was Martin was on top of Zimmerman beating his head on the concrete. He did what most people would do that had a firearm. i don't know why anyone would be dumb enough to fight with someone today. More people than ever carry a firearm for protection. Fighting is dumb anyway. They're never any winners.

Zimmerman had significant injuries to justify his actions. Michigan laws are basically the same. If your life is in danger or you are in danger of great bodily harm any amount of force including lethal force is justified. Its also justifiable to save someone else's life. If you or a family member was attacted would you lay down and die or fight back?

He still has a right to defend himself

Its not right to compate three different situations. Brown went for the officers gun. The officer did nothing wrong and protected himself. Anyone who goes for an officers gun is going to be in a world of hurt. Zimmerman is a private citizen who used lethal force when attacked. He is probably less than an upstanding citizen but still has a right to protect himself. Floyd is a totally different situation.

I bet you were Ok with it when the dems were running impeachment hearings based on false information, pushing a fake dossier and holding up budget votes. Its no longer about the people or the country. Its about party and power and its one thing the dems do better.

I don't think there is any chance Biden will run again. I also don't see Harris as the nominee either although she will give it a try. She isn't well liked and right now she's the perfect VP for Biden. If Republicans get control of the House and Senate they'll never impeach Biden because Harris is a worse option. If dems can't come up with someone better in 24 they are in trouble.

Who knows whats in the "human infrastructure" bill. The entire thing is a joke. What budget does $450K payments to illegals come from?

They have a history of big deals not panning out so I think they are more likely to sign a guy like A. Simmons for a year than do a big long term deal. I don't really think Biden or anyone caused the vaccinations to get to 200 million or 5 million jobs added. They have been promoting the vaccine so that may have helped but its the population trying to stay healthy from covid. The jobs being added is a sign we are returning from the pandemic which the vaccine has helped. Its not like anyone has created jobs. There's still many job openings because fewer people want to work. Wages increasing most likely has to do with a shortage of people willing to work. Business has had to increase wages to try to get people off the couch where they have been collecting free money. As for the market, who knows but I'm making good money so at this point I don't care!

I know most of you here thing I'm on the Trump team but I'm far from it. I liked some of his policies but we don't need anymore of his buffoonery in the WH. Nikki Haley would be one of my top choices for POTUS.

That's terrible. There should be something that could be done to people that knowingly have covid and goes around other people. Its bad enough that we get from people who don't know they have it.

I've only had jury duty one time and I was the first person excused after being called. They didn't even ask me a question. Must be because I'm a grumpy white man.

Big difference is 5 million plus people didn't die from a financial meltdown. If there was proof China or another country knowingly released a virus that killed that many people would probably start a war and could be nuclear.

It could have but it didn't. Covid was originated in China and then the cover up began. It was first said it was because of a bat in a market but then it was revealed it came from a laboratory. It possible the WHO even helped them in covering their tracks. There needs to be a thorough investigation on how all this happened and who was responsible.

There won't be anybody left on the jury. One guy was removed for making a joke and then three more shot.

Since we have trying to return from a worldwide pandemic that closed down a good portion of the country and put millions out of work I would expect this. This is natural progression of reopening the country and economy and jobs should be added each month until we get back to normal if we can. Its not anything that could be credited to Biden for creating jobs but they will surely take credit for it.as any politician would.
