I saw on the news a few months ago where a city - that I cant remember where - erected a statue of Floyd and it was vandalized. They were looking for the people who did it to press charges. Where does it end on statues or even memorials? Many places have them celebrating soldiers who fought in wars. The US military these things honor have killed a lot of people. Will they be torn down next? Tearing down monuments or destroying history is not going to erase that history. To remove a statue of a person like Washington because he owned a slave seems rediculous. No matter how wrong it was in our history it was common and legal. 200 years from now people might look back at us and say how terrible we are for doing something we consider normal. Who knows?

Why are the statutes there in the first place? Are they there because they supported slavery or for other reasons? Why is ok to desecrate or tear down these statutes but a crime to do the same thing to a G. Floyd statue? A lot of double standards.

Most people that I know and work with got about $25 to $45 a week more in their paycheck. Me and my wife each got $30 extra a week and $1500 more back in our tax return.

Trump was telling people what they wanted to hear and he followed through on a good many of those things. Kasich is a moderate and an idiot. Rubio didn't have the right message and would have been another do nothing POTUS. A lot of Americans were looking for a President that would do something different and work for the American people. Trump came along at the right time with the right message. As much as everyone here doesn't like him he still did a lot while in office, far more than Biden has done in 47 years and will ever do. And he did big things...biggly if it makes you feel better. He cracked down on illegal immigration, stopped the flow of people from terror supporting countries that hate us, stood up to Iran and got us out of that horrible so called nuclear deal Obama got us in although he didn't get the cash back, He didn't get us in any new wars, tax cuts, economy was booming before covid and unemployment at an all time low, peace in the Mideast that nobody has been able to accomplish and a few other things. Now Biden and democrats are in charge and everything has gone back to crap. How is that progress? Its not and it obvious these democrats are not working for the American people. America needs another President with the ideas that Trump had but that person needs to have a better delivery, know how to talk to people and most importantly, know when to shut up.

The democrats still use the "Super Delegates" that gives the democrat party more power in who is chosen.

I'm still surprised Trump made it through the primary. I beleive Clinton and Biden were more the choice of the democrat party seeing how and when some of their competition dropped out.

I wish we only had 400 cases a day. On the other hand what about the businesses and their employees that are closed in Ontario? Are they receiving assistance from the Canadian government? That has to be tough going for those folks.

The same thought goes to taking guns away. Only the law abiding citzen will give up their firearms. Criminals will not and they would have even more power over the law abiding as they would be defenseless.

Where I live in Michigan masked are not used by many people. Even my doctors and dentist don't require me to wear a mask in the office. My work requires a mask but don't enforce proper usage since most are chin guards.

I look at it if you want to wear a mask then wear one. I don't think any different of that person. Same as getting the vaccine its an individual choice. Some people don't want to put an unknown chemical in their body.

Thats not a true statement. Nobody is ok with school shootings or any illegal shootings. People who disregard the law are the problem. Laws are only for the law abiding. Guns don't do anything on their own. They are just used as a tool. If guns aren't available they will use another tool such as bombs, hammer axe, knife etc. Many people depend on firearms for self defense, recreation, and to provide food.

@oblongIm not sure what you are trying to say with the cartoon. The great majority of Americans don't wear masks. Are they bad people? People that are gun enthusiasts, carry firearms or hunt are not bad people either.
