There's only a week left to the season so I don't think they wanted to add someone to the 40. Short has played enough in the bigs this year to possibly help the team. He needs to improve at the plate to stay. He's a decent fielder so hope he finds some offense. He's kind of like Jacoby Jones but Jones totally lost it at the plate. He even rode the bench the last month in Toledo. He still made a couple million this year.

Rozema thought he was Bruce Lee and it didn't go so well for him. Hopefully Mize doesn't try his martial arts skills in a fight and just throws punches like a hockey player. Darren McCarty could give some pointers before the Chicago series.

They said Mize was first guy out of the dugout in the Chicago pushing match so hope he can bring that fire tonight. It would be nice to win a series against a crappy team instead of having to beat up on all the good teams.

I agree there was no reason to intentionally hit Abreu. At that point he was 0-2 and the Tigers needed outs not someone on base. LaRussa made the comment that the Tigers like to play aggresive but don't like it when they are played the same way. Maybe I missed something but Abreu looked like he was running his mouth at 2nd to start the whole thing.

I would be good with it. There are too many bad calls that effect the outcome of the games. Let the players decide the outcome and computers and sensors call the balls and strikes. I can see baseball traditionalists not like it. This would be a major change to the game.

This little dust up might make the last series more interesting.

There are millions of people in the country questioning the election. When the foxes are running the hen house in many areas that is where they are questioned the most. Credibility is very important. I'm sorry but you lost all of yours when you said CNN and MSNBC are unbiased. That is the best laugh I've had in a long time. Oh and by the way I'm not a Trump supporter. I don't want him to run again but when he was in office the country was in much better shape than its in now. The borders were secure and our enemies feared us. Lately it seems like the Tigers like to give the other team a head start before they get into the game. I wish they would get in the game sooner.

I don't know if the count has really been disputed. Biden had the most votes but many people question where some of those votes came from since there were millions of mail in ballots and very little controls of those ballots in some areas. One of the worst things that can happen in the US is the integrity of our election process is in question. If we have an election system with no integrity we will be no better than most third world countries. I see most if not all of you here are liberals. I'm not here to argue with you or change your mind. One thing I learned about politics a long time ago is there is nothing that either one of us can say that will change our views. My only hope is that people keep an open mind and try to find all the facts. Its very hard to do that today because there is not one single unbiased news source. Everyone reports their version of the news that they want you to hear. The news media used to be the watchdogs of the politicians. That doesn't happen anymore because they have made themselves part of the political system.

However they found irregularities in around 49,000 votes that need to be investigate. These included duplicates and people not living at reported address or even in the state. The liberal news outlets fail to report this just report the vote totals. The point of the audit wasn't the vote count but an in depth investigation in the votes themselves.

This is ridiculous. I would like to see what they are looking at in the replay room. With what we are shown its pretty clear there wasn't a tag. I thought it had to be indisputable evidence to overturn a call and there sure wasn't any.

It would be nice if Tork could go north with the team out of Spring Training. If he can share 1B and DH with Miggy then Schoop can stay at 2nd. I don't like Schoop at 1B.

We didn't use baseball cards thankfully. We used playing cards. If we used baseball cards they would have been 1950's Topps and I would still be crying over that.

Signing Boyd would be like signing Verlander. Too many unknowns but more so with JV since its more serious. It will be interesting to see how the Tigers handle this. They might offer a contract with a lot of incentives? I doubt they want to see him leave but they probably won't pay a lot up front either. It will obviously be up to Boyd if he thinks he could do better somewhere else. It might not matter if they have a labor stoppage. He could be ready to go when the season starts.

I thought Shep and Morris were especially hard to take last night. It was painful!. Morris needs to remember he is not a Journalist and stop trying to be one when interviewing people like Avila. He asks the dumbest questions. I think Al could make a blockbuster move by trading both these guys for a part time hot dog vendor. It would be a huge win for the Tigers.
