I think someone like Correa or Seager would want a long term deal and wouldn't sign for just a couple years. In that case maybe move Kriedler to 2nd if he's the real deal?

Mookie Betts did a good deed a few days ago getting TJ Friedl's first MLB hit and home run ball back from a fan in the stands. He traded his own signed bat for the ball. I think he might of been taken in a Rule 5 draft. He's been with other teams besides Cleveland after leaving Detroit.

You would think that will all of the IF players Avila has taken in trade there would have been someone who could play SS. One thing is evident though and that is Willy Castro isn't the answer at this time or probably ever.

Signing JV after TJ surgery is a huge risk. As much as I want to see him back in a Tiger uniform that money is better spent somewhere else.

I say go big or stay home. If they can't get Correa or even Seager they work on other areas with FA. Story and Semien don't look like what Tigers need to move to next level of competition.

I think they will get 78 wins. .500 is out of the question in my opinion.

I don't know if he's the answer or not but it would've been nice if he'd gotten a chance this year to see. If they are going to spend big on a SS they could put that money somewhere else if Kreidler was the answer. When or if they sign someone we'll never know.
