  1. Bases full of Bengals-no outs for Javy. Gets a sac fly to cut the lead to one. Still two on, one out. Pinch hitter in for Colt.
  2. And now the Cards add two more. 🙁
  3. Oops. DeJesus throws poorly…tie game.
  4. Dingler with the keen eye. Two challenges for Tiger strikes.
  5. War crime gotta be in prime time!
  6. I’ll check it out, Sue. Need the laughs I can get.
  7. With May’s high pitch count I’d normally be thinking to knock him out soon. But maybe better to keep him in since he’s been mostly crap. How good is the Cards pen?
  8. Is the site extremely slow to load pages for the rest of you? Almost unusable at times for me. 😡
  9. Proud of the Oregon score.
  10. 80 pitches, last one a walk on a 3-2 to Marte, and JV is done for the night. He did look a bit sharper the last 5 or six batters, but…
  11. Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I was wondering if the percentage of successful challenges during the course of the season was high (not individual game challenges) would lead MLB to expand the per game challenges from two to three. Simply acknowledging that umps miss calls enough that two isn’t enough. It’s been fun to see how close some of the pitches are when the system is used. I agree with the idea of making it active on every pitch-taking the balls and strikes away from the umpires. Seems fairer to me.
  12. When I get one of the new bills with Drumpf’s signature I will write underneath: Is A Felon
  13. Maybe if the number of successful challenges is high enough the rule will change to allow more than two. A third challenge would likely result in more early uses. Obviously not this season.
  14. This, I think there was a pent up urge to challenge from the early part of the game, just waited too long to do it (multiple Tigers).
  15. Time for the end of the day/game fly check, Bert.
  16. Kenley looks a little trimmer than I remembered him, not that I have watched him that much.
