A guy that refuses to condemn protecting pedophiles is talking about others lacking morals. That’s funny.

If I was in charge Ohio State, I’d be exploring every avenue to remove Les Wexner’s money from anything having to do with the program. Hard thing to do since his name is everywhere at the university.

Big time football is a weird business. It’s has all the parts of a non-profit but also this huge revenue engine that makes money on its own every year. Donors give to it like a charity and aren’t looking for equity or even financial gain. It’s either a super ego stroke or an estate planning vehicle for the super wealthy. There’s no real reason for the top programs to sell off an equity stake and also tie up their TV rights for another ten years. What they need to do is stop spending like a Russian Crypto Billionaire. Thats the reason these programs are operating at deficits. Too much ludicrous spending things they don’t need. USC is building a brand new state of the art football facility to replace the brand new state of the art facility they created 12 years ago. The prior redo before that was in the early 80’s. They also completely expanded and redid their practice fields a few years back at a huge cost. Nationally, we’ve seen all of the ridiculous locker room expansions with no expense spared. Most have more amenities than NFL facilities. None of these school spare any expense on the staff, facilities, and programs for nutrition and weight training. The funniest part is now that stuff doesn’t really matter that much getting players. The cost of doing business in recruiting isn’t how much you put into infrastructure. It’s how much you can pay players.

I know this is crazy to say today but I’ve never felt this good about the defense in the Campbell era. This is without 4 starters. They have one major problem to fix. Interior OL. They have to figure out how to play better. The entire offense is built around a solid line. Goff with a little protection is lethal for a defense. Goff under pressure is lethal for us. If they can fix it, there’s a big playoff run and maybe even a Super Bowl. If they can’t, think about the worst parts of a TP gameday post. -

This team doesn’t leave the state for almost a full month. They have a mini bye before the big game at Rams. Lots of time to get things fixed but 3 wins in a row at home are a must. -

The way that defense played tonight at least made some nice chicken salad. That was one of the better defensive performances in a long time against an elite opponent. What’s this unit going to look like when Kirby and Reed come back? Shaping up to be something. The goal is to play your best ball at the end of the season. The offense has time to solve its problems. This is still very much a contender. -

No excuse for not using one of the 3 TO. That was a mistake -

3-0 early second quarter was a good time to try it. Worth the risk at that point especially with Hurts playing like total jizz -

Love the call. Hate the result. -
This franchise needs to move to Nashville and start from scratch

I got caught up in a random video of someone doing an American vs Lafayette debate. The part about which is better wasn’t what caught my attention (it’s Lafayette btw). It was the guy on the video that kept saying Coney Sauce. I have no idea if this is a term. I have always just referred to it as Chili. It was with the assumed understanding that Coney Chili was different than Chili that you’d eat from a bowl. No beans or veg, less meat, and runnier. More like a Sloppy Joe than a bowl of Chili. I’ve never heard it called Coney Sauce. Is this what everyone else calls it and I’m just out of the loop or is this an East side thing, or were the guys on the video out of touch Juggalos. Either way it got me thinking that maybe Coney Sauce is a better name. It is a completely different kind of chili and one the is better served on a Coney than in a bowl.

Trump only cut off communication because he was pissed that Epstein dare bid on a property that he wanted in Florida.

Logic and Louisiana politics rarely end up on the same side.

Josh Sweat got $41M in guaranteed money coming off an 8 sack season. He was super fortunate to be the best guy in a soft year for free agent Edge’s. He was a good player that got an elite level contract. Great GM’s like Howie Roseman don’t overpay like this and it was 100% the right move to let him walk. -

The challenge with the Eagles is that Jalen Hurts is a slightly above average QB that makes a ton of dumb mistakes but he seems to almost always find a way to up his game and transform into elite during the biggest moments. I expect that he’s going to play a whole bunch better than he did last week. This game will go for the Lions as our OL goes. If it’s the strong cohesive unit that we’ve seen on occasion, it will be a tight game until the end. If it’s the confused version we saw against Minnesota and KC, they will be chasing the scoreboard all night and it will end up a lot like that Chiefs game. -
Makes a ton of sense in most places but this is Louisiana. No judge would be throwing their career away by finding some minute reason to overturn in favor of LSU. It’s probably more likely they’d throw their career away by going against LSU and the Governor. Speaking of the Gov, we can forget about him. It’s not his job to essentially overthrow the AD of LSU and publicly make the decision to fire the head coach. He did and people loved it. Nowhere else does an overreach of power occur like that and have it actually help the Governor’s popularity. We know college football is King in the South but it’s different in Louisiana. There’s one team. No Auburn or Alabama, Clemson or South Carolina. Everybody is all LSU. It was quiet for a long time and then Saban came an awoke the beast. Its very much like Lions mania here in Detroit but it’s like double or triple the intensity and all over the state.

He wasn’t talking about you. He said self respecting vets.

Everything in Louisiana is secondary next to LSU football. This includes the law. There may be judges that will rule in his favor but there will be many more that will overrule on appeal and that includes the state Supreme Court.
-
Stubborn ass just screwed himself. He should’ve taken the $30M offer. Hes getting nothing now. Louisiana courts will side with the school, state, and governor.

Hard to tell which is worse, offensive play calling, offensive line execution, or the attractiveness of the people at the bar across from the stadium.
