  1. They signed Christian Izien from Tampa yesterday and he will become the Nickel corner. He was ranked very high in that role last year. That’s one need on defense that got checked off
  2. Brad did an amazing job building this franchise into a yearly contender. It’s incredible where they are now from when he started. But if I’m being honest, he’s kind of sucked since they lost to SF in the NFC title game. He hasn’t really cooked **** since then.
  3. Someone needs to let Brad know that it’s only at the trade deadline where he’s supposed to do nothing as a Detroit GM. He’s should actually do work in the offseason.
  4. I’m floored he didn’t get more and even more that the Lions let him walk for that.
  5. Jon Berti from Troy HS helps out his birth country with a big homer
  6. Them as in the Bears. I wasn’t clear. I know that Decker can be solid. He’s proven himself in the league. Wills is a project and hasnt done nearly as much. A bigger wild card than Decker.
  7. I’d expect someone to sign him and take flyer and try him out over the offseason.
  8. I’d rather them have Wills than Decker.
  9. Do you have any unread Twitter DM’s yesterday from a @USADerosa?
  10. DeRosa’s real job is media talking head so he knew he had to come out and deny this was the case. He said that he “misspoke” earlier in the day. Leaving 5 players out of his original lineup including Cal Raleigh, Bryce Harper, Alex Bregman and Bryce Turang in a very big game suggests otherwise.
  11. It sure seems like they saw demand slow down for Hendrickson in FA and pivoted after agreeing to the Crosby deal and saving their two 1st round picks
  12. A reason that the narrative has gained popularity is the success of a few teams with large amounts of restructured dollars over the past few years. The Eagles, Chiefs, 49ers, Lions, and Rams are a few. It seems to be working for almost everyone but the Saints, Cowboys, and Dolphins, who have all put themselves in the laughing stock category of the league. I will agree the common thought the cap will keep rising so it doesn’t matter isn’t really accurate. The cap will continue to outpace rising cost of players but the difference between the two isn’t so large. Contract value has exploded the last 5 years with no signs of stopping. The way around it is to draft a young player that can take the place of the aging vet that you are tied too. That will help offset some of the damage to the cap. That is much easier said than done. FWIW, I’m a firm believer the Lions goal needs to be to at least get to a Super Bowl. If that crates chaos and 3 win seasons down the road, so be it. They have to take full advantage of the window they have right now.
  13. It will happen very soon. The car is fast and can challenge Mercedes.
  14. What an absolute failure by Team USA leadership thinking they had already clinched a spot in the next round when in reality they hadn’t. If Mexico beats Italy and scores less than 5 runs while doing it, USA goes home.
  15. This is a troll account. It’s not real.
  16. So weird that Team Italy has 3 players from Detroit and Team USA has none.
  17. Yep. The injury had to be more than advertised.
  18. Nobody f**** with him.
  19. On offense, yes. Defense needs more than just health. They need an Edge, Nickel corner, LB to replace Anzalone, another backup corner, another safety, a backup DL.
  20. I think today is going to be a nice day for us Lions fans. No predictions on who or how many but we will all like the moves and the prices they paid.
  21. I can only imagine what the Texas schools are going to spend next year in the transfer portal.
  22. Why? He did very little here for us. He certainly didn’t perform to the levels expected when he signed here.
  23. It’s a logical fallacy to think one can have a logical conversation with a troll.
  24. I like the Saints CB Alonte Taylor but Tennessee paying him $20M a year is way too high. I’m not a fan of Giants CB Cordale Flott and the Titans just signed him too for $15M a season. A lot of money for 2 players that bad teams elected to not sign as part of their future. Shouldn’t be surprised with the franchise that let Mike Vrable walk.
  25. This is a satire site. This is not a deal.
