Duren can’t start the 3rd quarter. He probably shouldn’t even play. It’s got to be Stew and Reed the rest of the way. Ausar can’t leave the floor except for a quick breath.

This could get Hawks/Knicks very quickly here if they don’t step up on defense right now.

All their shots are easy and open. Pistons are the worst good defensive team that I’ve seen.

I’ve got a bad, bad feeling this is the night where Desmond Bane catches fire and goes for 35+ and shoots 70% from 3. That won’t be enough on its own but it means Banchero can just be good instead of Superman for the Magic to win.

Congrats to Bill Guerin for having the sack to make a big move and trade for Quinn Hughes even without a contract commitment. He knew it wouldn’t be a waste even if he couldn’t sign him long term. Even if it’s only 2 years, it’s been a massive success winning their first playoff series in a decade.

I’m not saying there’s no chance but it’s very, very slim they win on Friday. The reason is that despite Orlando being a tough matchup, JB refuses to make any changes or adjustments in order to maximize their chances to win. He’s taken the foolish approach of playing their game and focusing just on themselves thinking that’s good enough to win. There’s very little adjustment for their opponent. The same rotations, the same sets, same defensive assignments. There are buttons he can press to counter what the Magic is doing but he’s such a bad coach in game that he’s incapable of doing anything different.

Our perimeter defense has become Swiss cheese in crunch time. All of their shots are uncontested.

I hate this team and coaching staff so much. So frustrating

How many times is Ausar going to make an amazing defensive play and immediately turn it right back over with a careless pass.

Someone else is going to have to step up and make a few shots in the 2nd. They are going to start doubling him every time down. Daniss needs to be more like Toby and stop taking 3’s entirely.

Dunc is going to hit his shots tonight so Huerter wasn’t going to be needed anyway.

The easiest solution is for Cade to play like a 1st team all-nba guy. Pistons would probably be going for the clinch tonight had that happened more this series.

How about something crazier… Why not fire Todd and bring in Sergei to be the coach. Use his pull to become a potential landing spot for Russian players. Michkov would probably thrive under him. Also use Sergei’s contacts to bring a few players straight from the KHL and use in a similar roster building fashion as a higher tier college free agent. Fans would be on board. It would be a big shakeup that Stevie needs without having to carve up the entire roster.
