I found myself watching the Olympics on the Canadian feed today. I got sucked into the Snowboard Big Air competition. They showed every single jump in order but skipped the US rider. The announcers were on camera talking about other parts of the competition and they never showed his jump and didn’t even talk about it afterwards. I thought it was a bit weird but then it happened again in the 2nd round. Everyone but the US got shown. This time he had a great jump and moved into 3rd place. They never showed a reply and the announcers acted a little confused describing the standings. It was obvious this was on purpose. I think they plan on ignoring and not showing as much of the US as they can to Canadian viewers. This is what it’s come to and I don’t blame them one bit.

Make the lottery unweighted. Each team that qualifies has the same odds. It will make great TV too.

Maybe I have recency bias as he’s struggled leading the team when he’s been in and his shot has looked Hollandish over the last few weeks. I don’t trust him and his lack of experience if we get into a situation where it matters and Cade is in foul trouble. I would’ve liked a little upgrade at the deadline as insurance for the playoffs. I also have to admit that Daniss takes a bit of the brunt of my hate for Rick Pitino.

They don’t need a score first point guard as the backup. They need somebody that can run the offense and help get open shots for others when Cade is out. Also play semi decent defense and close out the 3 point line.

I love how they think it’s ok because it was supposed to be from the Lion King. There’s no way to qualify it other than It’s racist as hell.

If there are any maga out there that hapen to have a neighbor they refer to as “my black neighbor”, now would be a great time to reach out and make sure he knows that not all maga laugh and call him a monkey behind his back.

Maybe it’s possible that this landscape changing arbitration victory would be enough for Boras & Skubal. They have more than done their part looking out for the players in the union and making their future better. Could they now be more open to the possibility of signing a long term deal and foregoing free agency? It would still be the largest deal ever for a pitcher. One can hope.

I wouldn’t mind seeing them release Daniss today and sign Lonzo Ball (if healthy). He can’t shoot either but he’s a better backup PG option.

I wonder how long they have been sitting on this deal. It wasn’t coincidence that it was announced shortly after the arbitration hearing ended. I’m sure it would’ve come up in Skubal’s argument had the Tigers done this prior.

My thoughts are all financial and lack of trust in Chris. The uncertainty of the new TV deal along with a potential lockout looming has me doubting that he’s going to significantly increased payroll this season. I hope that I’m wrong and this is the new Chris.
