There will be major upsets.

Italy will probably go 0-3 but the Kings are the biggest losers of the tournament.

Dude choked. Plain and simple. A guy that didn’t choke is Logan Thompson. Goaltending suddenly looks like a strength for Canada

Just relax and let the weed do its job. You are going to scare the Doritos with all this anger. More zen, less profanity.

Maybe all those years of hitting the bong are finally catching up to you. I’ve been posting on here years about my feelings on these reports and the BLS. Go use the search function if you are so bothered by my post.

The tiny ice is definitely an advantage for the underdogs. Less room for the top players to use their speed and skill.

Santa Claus is more believable than today’s fake CPI report.

Uncle Ebenzer!

The problem with that is you can’t get your rocks off feeding your bizarre fetish of trolling the left on a sports message board.

We know what’s coming next since they only have one play in their playbook. They will find a single, isolated incident or possibly even make one up. Magnify it 100x into an epidemic of lawlessness that endangers every American. They will pump up how needed ICE was and blame it all on how soft the left is on crime. Just for good measure they will find something to tie it all back to either Biden, Obama, or Clinton’s.

What a joke. A Judge with a law degree from Ole Miss rules in their favor. Meanwhile the same situation in another state gets a different outcome. That would be great if judges from Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana all ruled that he was ineligible and he couldn’t play in any games in those states. We can’t have each state able to make their own rules. The NCAA needs to figure out how to get control of its own sport back. They should be able to set their own rules to be eligible for the CFP. Let a judge say a kid can play but force the university to hold him out or chance losing the right to be in the playoff.

Horrendous. 1st goal is probably offside but no view that shows it. 2nd was one of the worst interference call that you will ever see.

Great first 2 periods for Canada. Very sharp in all facets against a very strong medal contender.

Busy day today on Olympic ice. The Swiss have a sneaky good team and dominated the French this morning 4-0. 10:30 we get our first look at the Silver medal favorites against a formidable Czech team. After yesterday’s results anything can happen. 3:10 we get our first look at Team USA against Latvia. They have 2 NHL goalies but this should be a boat race from start to finish. We will see if Larkin can pick up where he left off at 4 Nations. Seider gets his first action at the same time for the Germans against the Danes. This one will be similar to 1940.

In the past I would have said no. People can determine which issues are most important to them and vote accordingly. It’s a very personal decision. These are unusual times. Things are so different now that policy which impacts our country, our democracy, our constitution, and ultimately our freedom needs to be the main determinant in voting. Whether you support Israel or Palestine really shouldn’t be a determining factor in the future of America.

Any Alim restructuring should be off the table for the moment. He needs to prove he’s part of the long term before thinking about extending. Hopefully last year was a one off due to injury. Even more hopefully, Brad doesn’t love his guys so much that he thinks this same way and extends him now. Goff will 100% get restructured soon. Doing ASB and/or Penai now will come down to how active they are in free agency and what extensions look like for Gibbs and Campbell. My gut tells me they will be very active in the offseason with some bigger deals and will need most of that money.

Great post. I’ve been thinking this for some time. Our democracy is in jeopardy, yet many people still let what’s happening in Israel determine who gets their vote.

Dressing JT Miller and Vinny Trocheck over Clayton Keller is insanely dumb.

The most important part of today’s report were the 2025 revisions. 584,000 jobs gained were reported for the year. The revisions today has it at 181,000. 403,00 jobs that were reported but never existed That is a misstatement by 69% What’s scarier is that sinceI don’t trust these numbers, it’s probably much, much worse. Either way, why does our financial system continue to put trust in these numbers. Who would put trust and use an indicator that had only 30% accuracy? This is insane but then again these markets have always been rigged. This is yet another tool meant to confuse and deceive.

Every department in our government has become politically partisan. Not a single data point coming out should be trusted before being vetted by someone from the outside. We have become no different than Russia, China, or Iran in this regard.

The least surprising news ever.

Olson out for the year. Explains the last two moves a bit more

Only good things happen from having Olson, Melton, Montero, and Jobe around JV everyday. I still think he’s got something left in the tank to get major league hitters out.

2/9/26 7:00PM Pistons 38-13 @ Hornets 25-28

Brandon Miller is a nice player. -
Way too young. Tracy was a quality player on a bunch of pretty good Lions teams.
