Baseball is Hard. 2025 AL MVP Runner Up Cal Raleigh is on an 0-36 streak and is currently batting .157. Chris Davis .168 in 2018 is the worst full season average in history. 2025 NL MVP Shohei Ohtani is on a 4-34 bender with a double as his only XBH the last 10 games.

I’m not sure if the Mets have played a single game with their preferred starting lineup. Soto, Lindor, Robert, and Polanco have all missed significant time already. -

Hahahaha. It’s JB Bickerstaff. Duren is starting like this game never happened. The only question is if Stew is still the first big off the bench before Reed. -

Cade needs to put this team on his back in game 5. 40 points and less than 5 TO. -

Reed will be subbed out for Duren for the last 5 minutes of the game. Next game will begin like this one never happened with JD playing most of the minutes and Reed riding pine behind him and Stew. -

Duncan can’t be on the floor if he’s not shooting. No reason to play a defensive liability that doesn’t help you anywhere on the floor. -

This team is missing a super strong, all nba level on-ball defender. They’d be really tough to beat if they had someone like that to play 33 minutes including most of the 4th. I know those guys are hard to find but it would make such a difference. -

Cleveland deserves to win this series based on being smart enough to fire JB despite his stellar regular season record. They knew what we are finding out now. -

Praying for Duren foul trouble as it’s the only way to get JB to put him on the bench. -

It’s such a waste. This team could easily be the East champion with a competent coach making decisions on rotations and playing time. -
The NBA may elect to suspend Reid for needlessly putting his face in the way of Wemby’s elbow in a non basketball manner.

He’s the lucky Pierre tonight.

Davis Martin is the best pitcher in the division this season. Murakami, Vargas, Montgomery are the best 2-3-4 combo and all are 26 or younger. They still have quite a bit of work to do but the foundation is there. It’s too bad for them the agreement for Reinsdorf to move on isn’t for at least 3 years and maybe as long as 8. -

I wonder if Tkachuk is looking at this roster and wondering what he got himself into.

Someone forgot to tell the Saudi’s they don’t have the cards and they will regret this move in two week.

I expect this number to increase dramatically as the playoffs continue. Take the ball out of Cade’s hands and make him exert energy off ball just to get open. Also, force other players to get involved in the offense and hope they are quick to take the first look. -

The reporters knew the answer would be something along the lines: ”We’re focused on what we do and what makes us successful. We’re not as concerned as much with individual matchups. We have great leadership in Tobias and Cade and are together playing for each other and that’s what matters.” -

This team is so hard for me. I like many of the players and want them to win. I’m excited they are back playing meaningful games again. But the only thing this organization has in common with the one that won the 3 titles is the name and uniform. I hate the coach. He’s so poor in the technical aspect of the game. That’s the most important attribute for a head coach in the playoffs. I don’t hate the GM (yet) but I hate that he did absolutely nothing at the deadline. They had such an advantage being top in the East in a season with damaged contenders. He wasted a huge opportunity. I really hate the owner. He seems like such a self absorbed asshole. Private Equity firms do need to market themselves to the public. The only reason he puts Platinum on the court is because he can’t put Tom Gores. All of those Pistons won again videos they put on social are in front of the individual team murals they have on the hallway leading to the locker room. Of course, Tom has been included as the very first one. The owner is plastered on the wall like he’s the most important player on the team. Is there another owner in the league that does anything like this? I love the Pistons and am big fan of Cade but there’s just no way they can maintain any success with such poor quality at all levels of leadership. -

I’m interested to see what kind of adjustments the Cavs make after game 1. We all know what JB’s will be. Also wondering about the status of Sam Merrill. He can be crucial for them as another shooter that can hit wide open 3’s when the defense crashes to help on whoever cooks Duncan. -
Cade needs touch the ball and be the first option every time down. There’s too much settling for possessions where his not involved.
-
We can’t let them continue to take the ball out of Cade’s hand with pressure. That will be a huge problem if it continues throughout the series.
