Even if he can get eligible, does Texas Tech really plan on letting him play and paying him $5M to do so. This sport is slimy but this would be a new low. Fortunately, I don’t think there’s any way the NCAA lets him play.

I’m interested to see what buttons Trajan plans on pushing this offseason. I can’t say that I’m very confident that he will make good ones but I’ll wait and see. You left out Adam Silver and whatever the name is of his toad that does the draft lottery. This is going to take a huge effort to get it done. Home court advantage is lessened considerably by the fact the league was already advertising a Cavs/Knicks series. They want the Cavs. Btw, it doesn’t make any sense to me. The horrible fake fouls will become so obvious and fans are bound to get sick of the constant free throw series featuring the Four Tops of Flops in SGA/Wemby and Brunson/Harden. They need the Pistons in there to balance things out.

They can’t use the normal JB 2nd half rotation. Cade needs to play 20+ minutes.

No team should ever count on non-lottery 1st rounders on their team for at least 3 years and even if they make it at all. The lack of picks won’t have any impact on their team for a few years at least. The Wild took a big step forward this year. They will have another shot at it next year. If things don’t turn out how they want, they will be able to trade Hughes at the deadline for a big haul. Honestly; I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a playoff with two teams that look so dominant. The final play was close to being an even bigger catastrophe. Ausar touched it last and if he had just a little more momentum, the ball goes out of bounds with a second left to Cleveland. Can you imagine if that no call led to the Cavs getting another chance? You’ve got to make that call even with .5 left.

One positive is that clownshow finally figured out to sit Duren and play Paul Reed. He kept Reed in and didn’t go back to Duren down the stretch and into OT.

That’s 100% Harden kicking out but he does that on every play and they let him.

You got what I was saying. Whoever they choose as the goalie of the future, we won’t know the results for a number of years. I think it’s probably a good idea to give one of the kids a legit shot next year.

NHL goalie is so random that it’s almost impossible to predict future success. Other than a few exceptions, there’s very little rhyme or reason to it. Even a season or two in the league whether good or bad doesn’t mean that much in what a most guys do from one season to the next.

I am the same. Fortunately, until Cleveland can win a road game in the playoffs, they are the decided underdog to win this series.

Reed will be subbed out for Duren for the last 5 minutes of the game. Next game will begin like this one never happened with JD playing most of the minutes and Reed riding pine behind him and Stew.

Duncan can’t be on the floor if he’s not shooting. No reason to play a defensive liability that doesn’t help you anywhere on the floor.
