Not a chance the equal distribution holds up under the new administration. Honestly, I’m not so sure that Title IX will continue to exist. Side note is that players can get 3rd party NIL that won’t affect their schools cap. Goalies and their development are weird. They all start out with talent and success before getting drafted. Some peak early, some late, and some not all. Very few of them nowadays are good from the get go and stay that way throughout their career. Many cases of Vezina winners one year and barely holding onto a job two years later.

I’m out. I didn’t make it through the singles matches. It wasn’t captivating enough. As much as they want to make a sim feel just like the real thing, it’s not. This goes for all sims, even the world’s largest one. We saw that evident last night as the best golfers in the world were unable to dial in their shot distance. Every one of them was long by a significant on many shots. These are guys that are dialed in down to the yard with their shirt irons. Sahith was a good soldier and tried to keep up the illusion that it was adrenaline that had caused him to hit so much farther. It wasn’t adrenaline, it was an imperfect simulation. Doing a little more research and it turns out this whole thing is really just a marketing vessel for Full Swing, the shot tracking and sim technology company that is used by TGL. Tiger just so happens to be a large investor in the company. TGL is just really one big commercial for their product. If they can convince people that sim technology has become almost the same as the real thing, they stand to make a whole lot of money. Their home setups can cost between $30 and $100k.

I agree with the Congressman that this is a very complex issue. I do not believe that trans people should be allowed to participate in Women’s sports. There are issues with fairness, safety, competition, and opportunity for women that are all potentially damaged by their participation. I absolutely do believe that trans people should be afforded the same rights as everyone else in our society. They should not be treated unfairly based on their gender classification. I am having a hard time reconciling these beliefs. If I was forced to choose, there are many more women playing women’s sports than there are trans. I would probably side in their favor as the overwhelming majority but I do realize the massive slippery slope that creates.

I like McLaurin. I don’t think he’s at elite level after seeing him get absolutely locked down by AJ Terrell of the Falcons. He’s like a DJ Moore or DK Metcalf.

Make or break night for TGL. If watching this group isn’t engaging and able keep viewer interest for the entire 2 hours then TGL will be very short lived.

You seem to forget there’s a team out there called the Las Vegas Raiders. Yes, other than them there probably aren’t many suitors wanting to give him a mega deal anymore. This was such a tough dilemma before last night. They could franchise him and pay him about $40M for next season but with a robust market for him in FA that would mean missing out on a potential 5/$280 type guaranteed contract with someone else. Not sure how he and his agent would take that move by the Vikes. They would really be ****ing him over. If they wanted to keep him they should step up and give him a long term deal. Obviously things have changed after the past few weeks. Beyond the Raiders, I’m not sure who is giving him that long term deal. I think he’d be happy to take the tag from the Vikes now but not sure that even makes sense for the team now. That $40M is better spent other places.

I think that’s the obvious strategy against any rookie QB. Stopping him from running is easier said than done. Multiple times last week, he easily beat the spy to pick up a first down. The guy has a way of making people miss that you typically only see with running backs and Lamar.

My first choice for the Cowboys job would be Lincoln Riley. Unfortunately that’s probably not in the cards. I think Kliff Kinsgbury will be a popular name.

They are a very mediocre team but Ben should be able to improve everything they do on offense. The OL took a brunt of their injuries. I think they have a decent group but lack any depth. Finding a complementary WR shouldn’t be too hard as the talent pool league wide is very deep at WR. Tolbert wasn’t horrible and is still young. He had 7 TD this year.

Dallas has nice offensive pieces if Ben is so inclined. It could be lethal if he could get Dak to play within the system and not try be a gunslinger. Dallas isn’t that far away from regaining form. They were hit very hard with injuries and haven’t built the roster yet to overcome.

Like the matchup but this is not a team that you want be in a close game at the end. They’ve won their last 5 games on the last play.
