I’m not sure the money is better. ND is getting $60M/yr from NBC just for football in their new deal. They get additional money from the ACC for the other sports. We don’t know all the specifics but the new B1G deal is $1B/yr split among 16 teams for all sports. That works out to around $62M per team. There is an escalator clause in the B1G deal should ND join but nobody knows how much it is.

Notre Dame is going where the money is best. They aren’t going anywhere until the money from a conference is more than what they can make on their own. It doesn’t look like this is going to happen any time soon.

Holmes is in a good position with Hock. Either he has a great year and earns a strong contract or he doesn’t do much and they part ways and it becomes another point of emphasis on how empty the past regime left the cupboard.

Sweeping the wackos out is the biggest key for me in this cycle. Post 2024, I am excited for sweeping out the geriatric set of 70 and above Washington lifers on both sides. Politicians in their late 60’s need to be thinking about a plan for retirement instead of 3 or 4 more terms.

Certainly possible but too early to tell. Ultimately, I think ESPN will decide their fate. If they sign them up to a decent deal to replace losing B1G football and basketball, it may be enough to keep everyone else and possibly expand a few western schools from the MWC. This sure feels like a game of Duck, Duck, Goose between the PAC/B12/ACC. There are 2 chairs left and someone is going to be on the outside. First 2 to join together will leave the last for dead. Not sure why any are are risking being the one without a chair. Actually, I do. Ego and money.

As expected and now official.

Pretty much everything about the last regime was incredibly disappointing

I like there’s been very little talk about both Hock and Tracy Walker. In the past, they were viewed as essential players for the success of the offense and defense. Now, they are important but not essential. Another sign of talent upgrading.

So excited to see which hedge fund billionaire will be the next MLB owner.

I’m sure this is photoshop but they should’ve switched signs for full douchiness.

Probably all from European soccer player pre orders.

If you have a QB that’s waiting for Kenny to get open, he’s not going to catch many balls. More often than not, Stafford would throw him open and Ken would leap up and make a play. Admittedly, I watched almost no Giants games last year but I wonder how much of the problem is the QB.

Race week again and back at Spa for possibly the last time. I’ve always loved this circuit and hope it will stay. Excited to see it Merc can chase down Ferrari in these last 10 races despite having slower cars.

The GOP have totally screwed themselves. Trump has to run because the grift is just too good for him to pass up. It’s hundreds of millions more he can steal from his maga cult. If the GOP doesn’t get behind him as their candidate, he’s just going to run as an independent and will end up getting more votes than DeSantis or any other conservative. Can you imagine an election where the Republican Party candidate finishes 3rd? It’s really in their best interest to see Trump go down and find a way to rally his cult around DeSantis but they are either too stupid to realize it or too simped to do anything to stop it.

His amazing stretch will come to a screeching halt today since I picked him up on my fantasy team last night.

Can’t be. Has to be an error in filing, which happens when you have to hire shit lawyers because nobody wants to represent you.

I am a little concerned about this show because George RR Martin is involved. Mainstream success seems to have turned him into a complete train wreck. Weiss & Benioff cut him off from GOT for a reason and were smart to do so. I won’t shock me if this series ends up going off the rails in a few seasons or if Martin gets canned again.

The birth scene was a bit much but I really liked the episode.

There is a spot for him in the NFL. I’m not sure it’s with the Lions. This discussion is a tip of the cap to Brad Holmes, who has done a great job improving the WR corps.

I am fan of the new elitist world of college football where those with the resources can go from a 4-8 season to buying themselves a top head coach, top QB, an entire WR room including last years Belitnikoff award winner, 2 of the top returning RB’s in their conference from other teams roster, and still have enough left over to buy themselves top HS recruits for next year to keep the shelf full. This new world is fantastic and just what this fan needed.

Not bad numbers but he was popular due to the combination of his funny sounding name and even funnier looking batting stance.

One of the traditional Southern California powerhouse programs. Alums include Josh Rosen, DJ Uiagalelei, Trent McDuffie, and about a half dozen lesser known NFL players.

When it comes to the 6th or 7th WR, is it more important to be reliable or have a higher developmental upside? I’d probably lean reliability for a player in the on field rotation but want potential from someone deep down the depth chart. Personally, I’d keep Cephus, then Benson, then Kennedy.

2 horrible balls called on pitches fully in the zone against Ohtani. -
There are a few spots here where they have thoughtlessly done construction on the main route, alternate route, and surface streets at the same time. It’s all about the project without a care in the world about actual people and their inconvenience.
