    He’s done a good job of consistently winning at a place where it’s really hard to win. He knows the B10 and Midwest recruiting. He’s done it all with Drake Lindsey, Max Brosmer, Athan Kaliakmanis, and Tanner Morgan as his QB’s. It would be very interesting to see what would happen If you gave him a real brand and some NIL money. They could do a lot worse at the 5th or 6th choice for the job level.

    Marriages are personal and often very different than what people portray to the outside world. This goes for anyone, not just public figures. I can’t comment either way on how she felt. I do know that there are many situations where couples end their relationship privately but don’t legally file for divorce. It usually is when one of them starts a new relationship where the need to officially end the marriage happens.

    I wasn’t familiar with the PJ Fleck scandal. After looking it up, I’m not sure it’s really a scandal. It happened in 2016 and much of the salaciousness appears to be rumor. He is still married to the woman he left his wife for and I can’t find anything that’s says she was a stripper.

    I don’t think they can go into the offseason counting on Decker. It’s a toss up whether he plays or retires. Need to prepare for life without him so as to be not caught off guard

    I’d agree with Stevehagen that most teams wouldn’t empty their farms for a single season. It just takes one team. Doesn’t matter what the rest of the league does. I think it’s very possible there’s someone that would throw caution to the wind and make a deal.

    Why would Stephen Ross fire the coach to the team he owns only to hire him on the other team he owns?

    Sadly, Trae Young is expected back to practice this week.

    The no call on the deep ball to Jamo that happened right after the phantom TD in was huge. The defender clearly hooked him just before Jamo made a dive for the ball. That little bit of early touch was the difference from catching up with that ball. The Rams had just scored to go up 27-24 and the Lions had to punt and the Rams scored 2 again plays later. Different game had they got that call and moved into FG range to potentially tie and slow their momentum

    We need to figure out how to win at Minnesota before anything else.

    Christmas Day at Minnesota is massive. Many seem to be ignoring it when doing their potential playoff possibilities. It’s all Bears and Packers and winning that Week 18 game at Chicago. Vikes are starting to play better and they beat us in all 3 phases last time at Ford Field.

    The Lions have a great chance to win this game. The biggest key to victory is to injure Stafford on the first series of the game.

    Hughes is either the best or 2nd best defenseman in the league. You are getting a superstar with a chance to be in the lineup for the next 10 years. Kasper and Danielson are still very much prospects. They have much work to do in order to cement their part in the longterm plan. I don’t think you become the Edmonton Oilers by trading them away.

    Washington plays tonight in the first bowl game. If they don’t jump on Jedd Fisch tomorrow then maybe they really are getting DeBoer after all.

    There’s a much bigger difference both now and in future potential between Quinn Hughes and Simon Edvinsson than this board is giving credit. That’s not a shot on Simon. He’s good and stands to be really good in the future. Quinn Hughes is a unique talent that has a chance to be one of the all time greats.

    Minnesota trading for Hughes without signing him to an extension is either really ballsy or really stupid. We will all find out in a few months.

    We are in the NIL era. It’s not that easy anymore. All of these top recruits have signed contacts and have been paid. If they want out, they will have to return the money that’s been paid. That’s going to go keep players with 7 figure deals like Savion Hiter wearing maize and blue.

    Baker Mayfield has been downright terrible for the last 5 games. He’s the main reason the Bucs have sucked. Tonight is more of the same with him holding the ball like a rookie for way too long and also throwing inaccurate ball after inaccurate ball. Al & Kirk continue to gloss him up and ignore all of it. Not one bit of criticism and any questions about the ****tiness of his game.
