  1. Agreed, Harris would have to make a decision based on 2-3 alternating views made by experts in their fields. Even if she consistently made the worse choice, it would still have some merit. Even for the few experts in their fields that were able to get within earshot of Trump, they had to compete with uninformed choices from Trump friends/family along with Trump's own 'why don't we just say fuck it, that'll be good for ratings' mentality.
  2. I contend that I'm accurate as I believe any escalation could lead to WWIII if some of the intelligence reports of we're seeing about Putin's mindset is accurate. I'm not even saying that it would definitely lead to WW3, but again, it would definitely be an escalation and Putin made it clear any escalation would be met severely. I apologized, sorry that was not enough.
  3. I apologize that I said you were for the bombings. I took your response was that you didn't think bombing those yachts could be seen as an escalation and I should have stated that clearer.
  4. Russia also just invaded a sovereign country, that showed no aggression to it, based on trumped up charges that no international body has been able to confirm or identify over the years. Even Iraq and Libya does not compare to this, yet the Russian claim this is a peacekeeping mission and are 'surprised' that the world is against them. I have a feeling they have different views on what is escalatory when they do it, versus when something is done to them.
  5. So you immediately stopped reading or you savagely disregarded what I wrote after? Honestly, why do you bother responding to anything I say as everything triggers you and most of the time you only respond to say you ignored my post. A great way to show you ignored my post, is simply to ignore it. Don't respond, don't be a dick, just sit back in your isolated world that searches out for anything that supports your view so you can live your happy little life.
  6. I'm absolutely for that. I'm simply saying bombing yachts for pseudo Russian officials in a sovereign country is an absolute escalation. I'm genuinely surprised I'm getting push back on that.
  7. Apparently to little. Not used to liberals being so gung ho about going after citizens of other countries on foreign, sovereign land.
  8. You're backing the side that wants to bomb privately owned yacht's owned by Russian citizens in a completely different sovereign country and your response to erroring on the side of caution and maybe not performing hostile actions in a sovereign nation is 'ifs and buts'? Why stop with Yacht's. Those are just their play toys that costs them money. Let's hit them where it hurts, these oligarch's own real estate in NYC. Let's bomb those too. Heck, this is a world coalition, so let's have the UK bomb those and in turn we can bomb all the London buildings owned by Oligarch's. The one owns Chelsea FC I believe, let's take that stadium down too.
  9. These are huge yachts owned by psuedo government officials. In peacetime, if Russia sunk Bezos' and Gates yachts as they were sitting at some sovereign country, and likely resulting in the deaths of American's that maintain the yacht even if Bezos and Gates weren't on them, we'd want blood. Putin is threatening nuclear war, intelligence that seems to have been pretty solid lately is also saying that this Putin seems a little unhinged, and we're in some of the most turbulent time I have ever been in throughout my lifetime. You guys really think that wouldn't be a major escalation?
  10. Tell me how to start WWIII, without saying you want to start WWIII.
  11. You guys always look down on Newsmax. This might be the first time i've watched it and it seems pretty good to me.
  12. To go further, the accuracy of the information was spot on. I defended our intelligence after Iraq, even as I admitted some major issues. But overall, that, plus many other things over the years, had soured me a bit. I was definitely skeptical of not only things you posted, but what I was seeing on much of our MSM related to 'intelligence sources'. I will say this has restored some faith in our intelligence. To the original point, Biden and his administration get props for using that intelligence so well.
  13. Yup, that's where I was going with that as well. I doubt Putin cares how many he loses as long as he wins the war.
  14. I know, I don't want to be critical in a time of war, but c'mon with your video taking skills people. This is 2022.
  15. We're talking Putin, so I fixed that for you.
  16. A firefight and at the end is another view of the earlier event you posted. Some are claiming it may have been an accident trying to avoid other things going on or even possibly an Ukrainian driver that lost control. Regardless, if the Russians aren't invading, this doesn't happen, period.
  17. https://www.cnn.com/2022/02/25/politics/supreme-court-ketanji-brown-jackson/index.html The pick is in.
  18. Canada ended that by freezing the bank accounts of everyone involved in honking horns at all hours of the day and night. Yet we can't get Germany and Italy to back similar measures as Russia invades a sovereign democracy in their backyard.
  19. Ok. I'm not going to lie, for a second I took a few comments you made and started to wonder if Ukraine could outright push Russia back. This clarifies and is unfortunately, along the lines of what I had thought.
  20. Is there an Intelligence belief that Ukraine can in fact win this? I've been happy to see some feel good stories, but I assumed the end result was inevitable. I have just been hoping for a good showing from Ukraine to help with citizen morale which could subsequently force an occupation if Russia wants to stay in control. More or less an Afghanistan style conflict that would hurt them long term.
  21. If the goal isn't to take all of Ukraine for itself, but rather setup a puppet government like Belarus, my guess is that they are hoping this shock and awe campaign would keep the citizens at bay as they know if they overthrown the government, Russia might just walk right back in.
  22. This is trending on Twitter. Rumors that a single Ukraine fighter took down 6 Russian jets. No idea if it’s real, I’m rooting him on regardless.
  23. Tulsi isn’t wrong, it could have made a difference. Just as any one of us, if we just work hard, we could be billionaires soon. It could happen. If it was known Ukraine had no shot at NATO, and that was publicly stated, I do think that would have made it harder for China to turn its head like it has done. Still that doesn’t mean anything actually changes though.
  24. I’m for appeasement. Call up Putin and let him know we’ll shrink NATO by one if he retreats. Once he retreats, expel Germany and Italy while adding Moldova. Fire up those nuke plants Germany and deal with it.
