  1. Something happened the first week of June. He hasn't been the same since. His walk rate more than doubled. It wouldn't surprise me if he's hurt and doesn't want to say anything because he finally got the closer role. He's been their worst pitcher since that second appearance in Chicago on June 4.
  2. Might want to get his arm checked out. He's really struggling lately.
  3. You could see the swing before that he was measuring the curve and he didn't miss the next one.
  4. "Beginning in the eighth inning, a crew chief may conduct a replay review of all reviewable calls upon his own initiative or upon the request of a manager who has no remaining manager challenges."
  5. Crew chief review. Not sure what the rule is on that but the umpire wanted the play reviewed.
  6. This crow tastes like victory nom nom nom nom nom
  7. Maybe the new stance is ok 😜
  8. Keep Marisnick and I would be fine with Vierling in the infield for now.
  9. I must disagree with the chess master. Maton does not "balance out" the lineup. He's a black hole in the lineup. Doesn't matter which batter's box he stands in. The new stance looks bad. Slightly different stance with the same results.
  10. Dodgers immediately sign him to a ML deal.
  11. A lot of up the middle position players who will put the bat on the ball. Something the big league team is missing. Put guys on base and nobody can put the ball in play. This draft is a long way from helping solve that problem though. Harris continues the battle for the strike zone.
  12. Nobody knows who will end up with more career WAR between Clark or Langford. I understand wanting the more complete hitter, impact bat, of Langford because we just don't have many here in Detroit. I also look at Comerica Park and envision Clark's speed, defense and arm being very valuable in that vast centerfield. I like Clark because I think he'll be able to impact games in a way very few players can. Could you really go wrong with any of the top five? I'd be happy with any of them.
  13. I don't get the Anderson pick. Most of his home runs were to right field. Not sure he can clear the fence at CoPa. Sub par speed and fielding. Arm isn't good enough for third. Too many ground balls. Does make good hard contact. He sounds like Tork-lite.
  14. 4th pick tonight or tomorrow?
