    When Carpenter went on the DL, I think they were both forced into full time roles and probably some unfavorable matchups. Neither is ready for a full time role yet.

    Carpenter had some discomfort hitting off a tee, so they shut him down and will re-evaluate in a few days. He was estimated to be back by the end of the month but that might be delayed now.
