  1. I think Schoop will bounce back next year. He's been pretty consistent during his career. I don't think he's a long term solution but they could flip him at the deadline.
  2. Baddoo has looked good in September on offense and defense. All the young guys have. I'm sure they will all get long looks in spring training.
  3. How often do teams turn over half of their roster? I can't see giving up team control over young guys.
  4. Sox magic number zero wah wah wah
  5. The fan kept Pujols' 700 HR ball. Refused several offers from the Cardinals. Seems silly to me. How much value could the ball have? It's not authenticated by MLB.
  6. Candy and Schoop have been disappointing but both have career low BABIP this year. I think they will both bounce back as 2 to 4 win players next year. Then trade both at the deadline because neither of them will be part of the future non-Miggy teams. Tork and Willi are the next lowest in BABIP. Tork is the first baseman for the future and I think Willi will be ok on the bench. Harold will need to hit the road along with some of the older pitchers like Hutchison. I like the young outfielders but I understand they haven't proven themselves yet. I could see a veteran addition there. I like Haase and Rogers. I think Haase has played well enough to give Rogers a chance and if he fails, they could look for veteran help midseason. I agree the rotation is probably the biggest need for outside help. We need reliable innings while the kids stretch out at AAA and remain available in case of injuries.
  7. Cron isn't a good example but this is what Harris said and I like it.
  8. In the press conference, Harris said something about Detroit becoming a destination for players to become their best. That really stood out to me because this season some players have been performing at their worst. CJ Cron came to Detroit, had a down year and ended up injured. Then he goes to Colorado and has a career year. Hopefully Harris can find those players who are driven to have a career year in Detroit and don't cost too much.
  9. Jon Morosi shares his thoughts on Scott Harris Watch VOD - Bally Sports
  10. Can't hear the answers on MLB.tv
  11. I know nothing about him. I will be nice to him today and bitch about him for the next ten years.
  12. The kids have looked good the past few weeks. The millionaires have looked like a bunch of zeros.
  13. They are going to change the coaching staff. They are adding Dwight Shrute as the assistant to the regional manager.
  14. I don't get the appeal myself.
  15. They prepared for the game by going to in and out burger.
  16. One curly fry per hit?
  17. They need to make a rule that guys can't jump into the netting. Seattle player jumps into the net and the ump calls the batter out. It was overturned on the challenge but there shouldn't even be a question about that. First, he trapped the ball against the net. Second, he was completely out of the field of play and third, he dropped the ball. Someone is going to get hurt doing that. It's not a bouncy castle guys.
  18. They do their best to get the curly fries and anything more than that is gravy. Fries, gravy, get it?!
  19. They are bringing up Toledo's hitting coach as well to work with the youngsters in the batting cages. I thought that was interesting. How do you feel about your job security Mr. Coolbaugh?
  20. Yup totally busted but they kept straight faces during their segment haha
  21. Tigers threaten but yada yada yada
  22. I blame it all on the ping pong table. Burn that sucker.
  23. We get to face Cy Keuchel.
  24. I'll take the new schedule over the sux, royals, Twinkies and guardians anytime.
  25. Paredes went to a new division and Grossman went to a new league so I'm sure there's some time needed for pitchers to adjust. Also, small sample size should not be cause for heads exploding.
