    Why did Hinch hang Fulmer out to dry after he gave up three hits in a row? Soto came in after the fourth hit scored two runs and preceded to shut them down in the 8th and 9th. One hitter sooner and they might have won.

    That Sanchez curveball was extremely nasty with tight spin and late break. It's hard to win with 2 runs in 9 innings. I have a hard time faulting the bullpen when Barnhart generated the offense and the game saving defense.

    I have to question what type of environment does it create when your lowest paid players are your best performers? I think we've seen the answer this season and it's not good.
