They are throwing bologna at the wall at this point. Of course Baddoo should be on the team. He proved that last year. But let's keep Torkelson because nobody else can catch Javy's throws and send down the hot hitting Clemens. Let's keep sending out our high paid players even though they haven't hit for half a season.
The offense went from exciting to abysmal in one year.
Erod, Meadows and Clemens are bad at ping pong. Grossman, Candelario, Schoop, Torkelson and El Mago are ping pong masters.
Hinch and Coolbaugh are huge ping pong fans.
Fetter is in the corner quietly doing his job.
He did opt out of the shortened covid season.
I believe Greinke had social anxiety disorder?
Pure speculation because I don't know what the situation is with Erod but there is still stigma even today associated with mental health. For a macho professional athlete, that has to be amplified about 1000 more than someone who is not in the spotlight. Whatever the situation is, it seems easier to avoid at this point, even if it is costing a lot of money.
Paredes never hit for power even in the winter leagues did he? I'm calling fluke for now until he proves otherwise.
There's a really simple answer to the Erod situation, he's a lefty... Seriously hope everything is ok.
Too much dance dance Revolution while on the covid list? What is going on with this team?
The sad thing is, the pitching has been really good and we have players who can play defense (although Hinch prefers the Castro's for some reason), but the hitting has been historically awful. Something has to go right eventually I hope...
Paredes never hit for that much power here. Did the Rays unlock some potential or is it a sample size fluke? It will take time to determine that. The pitchers are going to adjust. Will Paredes be able to maintain the power when they do?
