I'd rather reward Nevin for playing well at Toledo even though I suspect he can't do much here. More than Ibanez though, probably.
I think we’ve learned that when it comes to guys like Nevin and Ibanez, the jump from AAA to the bigs is huge.

Unfortunate error by Ibanez, but at least his bat more than makes up for that.

I think that the time is up for Ibanez. There isn't anyone at Toledo really, but I'd rather give Nevin another shot at this point.
I think Lipcius should be next—seems to be hitting better lately after a slow start. Nevin = Ibanez. Great AAA hitters.

Scott Harris will be pleased by this 11 walk offensive approach
I passed him out walking Sunday—much shorter than I thought. He was with his wife and some friends coming back from the Birmingham Farmers Market, I think.

This my favorite, after I had to show a blocked tweet.
Is that the guy who does the podcast with Evan Petzold? If so, he’s not very likable.

Matt and Casey look quite pleased.

It was inevitable and not horribly executed. Tigers Twitter is freaking out worse than the time when their collective mother’s suggested that they might charge rent if they continued to live in their basements.

I don’t want Miggy cut, but I wish they could work out a solution. Make him a ceremonial hitting coach so he can continue his tour. Activate him in September so he can play in a few home games and the last game of the season.

I actually think Keith would get a call up first.

Vest-Foley-Lange get it done, even if not dominant tonight.
They would have had a pretty awesome BP if they resigned Chafin.
2.5 behind MN; 1 game in loss column.
Technically, he chose to leave, but I agree with your point.

We’re all gettin’ curly fries tomorrow, bitches! Think of Zach Short as you enjoy them.

Good things happen when you force a pitcher to throw a strike. He was 2-0 when he got his hit.

Schoop's first 2 RBI of the season?

Schoop broke the seal!

How can Harris watch schoop at this point and not cut him immediately
I agree, but who do you replace him with? I think Kreidler is hurt.
They must be having serious conversations about Keith. He could probably skip Toledo.

Greinke can throw about 140 pitches with his stuff. We’re making him look like his old Cy Young self.

One guy is getting a fully paid retirement tour, one guy makes $7 mill, and the last guy makes league minmum.
Not that Miggy was going anywhere, but he’s the focus of the Tigers marketing efforts throughout the season.

Tigers trade Jonathan Davis for Miami’s OF Brady Allen. A few positives—5th rounder, only 23 and takes a few walks.https://twitter.com/detroittigerspr/status/1660755025503698944?s=46&t=3s7o7paxNgAr2rBy91RdPA

25% of the season over, and Schoop still doesn’t have an RBI. That’s insane.
This team should not be carrying both Miggy and Schoop on the roster, and Cabrera isn’t going anywhere.

Nice day for the kids, though Lakeland seems like a prospect black hole.

McKinstry looks like the kind of guy you’d find parked along Woodward Avenue, with the hood of his hot rod up. And proud as a peacock.
