    I think you have to optimize Skubal—that’s game 2. Even if he pitches Game 1, you still have pitching chaos on Game 2. Best to flip them.

    I probably hate the Red Sox more. We’ve had success against the Yankees in the postseason. Still bitter about the Papi grand slam. It’s a shame they both can’t lose this series.

    with our offense, I wonder if we would have been better served having Skubal face Bibee in Game 2, and take your chances on that one and a Game 3, if necessary? Hate to potentially waste another Skubal start.
