  1. You’d have to add to it, but I doubt he’s untouchable. The bloom is off his 🌹. He’s made Tork’s struggle in the MLB look like nuttin’
  2. Yes—everyone has a price, but keeping the younger, controllable guys is ideal. Of course, they have more value to another team for those reasons.
  3. We’re in violent agreement.
  4. We should be sellers—not distressed, though. I’d capitalize on our MLB 3rd ranked bullpen and move an arm or more to get position player talent. As mentioned in another thread, I’d rather move multiple in the same trade, or take on a salary dump to get a better player. No more Travis Demeritte-types.
  5. Great thread—thanks for doing the work.
  6. That’s the point, though. Both were young players with a good track record and upside potential. Not having them, and relying on replacements, has had a negative impact.
  7. He smashes a Water cooler like no other.
  8. I’d like to see us draft Sonny Dichiara from Auburn at some point. Has a physique like John Goodman, but rakes and gets on base. Miggy’s heir at DH.
  9. Stocking up on infielders in the org: Toledo: Kreidler, Clemens Erie: Lipcius, W. Perez, Workman WM: Keith, T. Cruz Lakeland: Pacheco, Santana, Sequera TBA: Jung, Graham, TBD
  10. Normally I’d assume both guys would start in Lakeland, but we already have Pacheco, Santana and Sequeira at their positions. Might head straight to West Michigan.
  11. I got one right!
  12. SS Peyton Graham?
  13. Fair. I guess the question is, was there a better prospect that was chosen after Jung that we should have selected instead? For me, the only one that was close was Neto.
  14. How many players do we have in the org who can hit for average and power and walk more than they K? I’ll take average defense with that profile.
  15. I also remember the speculation around Greene’s defensive prospects. I was surprised to see that he had at least average speed once he signed—I expected him to be slow/sluggish based on what was being said about him.
  16. Let’s get him signed and playing before we call him a bust at 2B. As was tweeted, he was dealing with a hip injury this season, which might have impacted his power and mobility. His bat profile is completely lacking throughout the entire organization, so I’m excited to draft him. Maybe not Matt Shepard-excited, but pretty darn close.
  17. Good with any. Like Parada now—hadn’t considered him based on the mocks.
  18. Twins and Royals draft stud college bats. Let’s see how we counter.
  19. I’d like to see one of Jung or Cross fall to us…only to see us draft Porter. Waiting for a Tigers Twitter implosion if a pitcher is selected.
  20. I should have trademarked it. Probably my only positive contribution at the old board.
  21. That’s logical, but probably won’t impact the Tigers if they have locked into someone.
  22. Word is that Zach Short is throwing bullpens in the event of a Harold Castro injury.
  23. Orioles make a bold move drafting a 14-year old SS in Jackson Holliday. Signability pick?
