I don’t think he’d be that overmatched. You’d want to have a veteran utility player as insurance, but if Harris is serious about giving AB’s to our prospects, this would be consistent with that position.

I’m good with him leaving, regardless of his salary. You bring him back, and you basically have the same lineup as last year, except for C. I would have preferred that Schoop followed him out the door, too.

Makes me a bit pissed, though, that Avila didn’t read it better the last few years when teams were being much more conservative with their spending. Harris walked into a tough first offseason where teams are spending like drunken sailors.

Agree. Maybe he’ll respond better to a 2nd season with Fetter. He’d be lethal if he could improve his command some.

You missed his 2-11 record. He won’t be cut and probably needs a rebound season to regain any trade value. He’ll have that opportunity, but doubtful as the closer.

Distinct possibility that Tork might need to play at Toledo next season.

I’d consider Hosmer as insurance and platoon options for Tork and Miggy, both of whom have major question marks.
