  3. Silver lining. Another season of them
  4. Wild pitch for the loss ?
  5. Yes indeed. Lack of punchouts. oh wait Shelby Miller … problem solved
  6. Now feeling worse
  7. Got a bad feeling.
  8. Lots of ground ball hits getting through on the right side.
  9. Lots of ground ball hits getting through on the right side.
  10. Ha will do !! Just bummed another season has slipped away. Nice to hear Leyland say he’s also tired about hearing the word patience.
  11. My gut tells me he won’t be back all year.
  12. I also do not understand the Miller love at this point. Guess we are short relievers in general and we never had one who could strike anybody out consistently. That has to be a major off season fix. We need at least two.
  13. Still waiting for Harris's "calculated risk ". I think we are in good hands with Harris but he needs to press the gas harder all the same. I agree with Leyland "I am also sick about hearing the word patience ". Asking fans to be "patient" is a cop out. It's like asking for a free pass. Sorry kid this is a 120 + year old franchise and we are the owners and you work for us and we're tired of the SUCK.
  14. It was me because….wait for it…..he stinks. And yeas the ball boy will do but if not then Trey Sweeney.
  15. On some level, isn’t every season and evaluation season no matter how good the team is?
  16. Playing McStinky does not help us this year or future years. Total waste of “runway “. Cut him and bring someone else up.
  17. September numbers are meaningless. Just leave him in Toledo all year. Pump his numbers up and move him in the off season should a good deal materialize. Sign Walker. Stop hoping.
  18. Hard to watch though Lugo is having a career year. Keider throwing 95 on his 85th pitch is a good sign I suppose. Let’s hope he finishes strong and portends favorably for 2025.
  19. Apparently not. Elias built a great team in Baltimore but if his greed for duplicity of stud minor league hopefuls prevent him from getting the "DD" piece to win in October what good is it. maybe some GMs/PBOs can build and can't make "the Play" and some are the opposite Ala DD. I hope Harris can do both. A Skubal Trade with Baltimore made so much sense to both sides. Why do you need Holiday when you have Gunner backed up by Westberg at short and why do you need Skubal when you're years away from winning and can't without a shortstop. Baltimore could have had Burnes and Skubal starting 60 % of their playoff series. It's like the guy with 10 performance cars who rents because he can't afford to buy a house due to car payments and we're the husband that won't let his wife divorce him knowing she will eventually leave anyway and choosing to live in misery.
  20. We have to muddle through 2024 but we got better in 2026 and this off season we should spend some coin for 2025 even if its one and two year deals with slight overpay or one BIG get if there is one that fits.
  21. Sweeny as our new McStinky that hopefully is better ? Liranzo has power which is valuable, a switch hitter which is plus and a good first baseman that can also catch. Seems better than a supplemental draft pick. Not sure if it's as good as what Toronto got for Kuchi-san. Maybe Jack's back lessened the take. "feels" like Harris wanted something else that evaporated and he pivoted to plan B at the last minute. But I don't know. Just guessing here.
  22. I think this is correct..or an extension ?
  23. Good points plus Rogers has two more years after 2024
  24. Norby and Stowers for Flattery not enough for Scot ?
