  1. Indeed allowing us to add another arm only if the price is right. Not trade him. I didn’t mean that. No no. I dye any to trade any of our top 12.
  2. Let's hope Melton looks good and gives Harris some leverage looking for relievers.
  3. Come on boys stop fooling around
  4. I do not think losing Skubal will stop this organization from excelling. The question comes down to is an additional year of Skubal on a potentially championship level team plus a competitive draft pick worth as much as the assets acquired in trade.
  5. And that equates to 400 million from the Dodgers given the 13% v 4% State tax difference
  6. I agree it would be for multiple major league players with multiple years of control playing positions of need. But I expect Skubal stays all of 2026 and we settle for the camp pick and two playoff runs
  7. Additionally aren't we allowed a 5 % overage on our total so another half million so now 1.5 surplus ?
  8. Heading toward the Dutchman DeBruin ?
  9. Cason Cunningham off the board. We were often tied to him
  10. I say Joe Coleman pitching in a minor league championship game in Albuquerque New Mexico at the end of his career by pure chance. Don't remember anything else about that trip or who I was with or what I was doing. Whisky and Baseball. Hell of a combo.
  11. Do you agree with that strategy ?
  12. We are enjoying an unprecendented run of great baseball covering two seasons now and are positioned for that ( contending) to continue for the foreseeable future and I am not interested on trading that for one player who "might" bring us a title. Championships are great of course but multiple months of contending baseball with a chance at a Title is worth more to me. Stay the course.
  13. I think he's a better hitter than all of them. Think Issac Parades with more power.
  14. Perry sure likes to talk
  15. Thanks for the promotion.
  16. Sorry for says nuts. You seem more knowledgeable than me and maybe Miller is a number one starter in hiding. But Clark seems the real deal to me.
  17. Nah he’s a master blaster. Going to fool all the evaluators even the good ones like you.
  18. That’s nuts in my opinion. A reliever ? Sorry not for me.
  19. Not trying to be Orioles GM Elias and all but I hope we keep our farm intact this deadline unless the return has multiple years of control. Relief pitchers on expiring contracts should not require over pay. So glad it’s Scottie and not Al at the wheel.
  20. Maybe Platoonford took under slot $( if he really did) because Texas does not have state income tax.
  21. Not so sure we need a bat or starter. Wouldn’t give up much for either that’s for sure. What we need is two dependable relievers.
