My two take aways from todays game. 1 - Malloy needed to see a few more pitches before swinging at the second pitch he saw. Horrible AB. 2 - Keith does not need to be sent down but he needs to sit 2-3 games and get his head out of his butt. Still think he will have a good year but I hope not to see him playing 1B again this year.

Maybe each team's home team and away team could play each other.

Skubal is at home (I know, he spent a lot of time in Arizona too), nice visit with his college coach and college teammates yesterday, get away day = large strike zone, Skubal wanting to erase memory of opening day loss. Tarik is going to put a beatdown on the Mariners and the Tiger bats will have a big day today!!

Torres to 3B, Keith back to 2B and keep Tork at 1B (as long as he produces). We should be catering to Keith since he is on a long contract with the team and play (one year contract) Torres where he is most needed to make this team it's best.

I think Colt Keith should be taking reps at 3B, 1B should be Tork's as long as he continues to produce.

Gage Workman makes the Cubs Opening Day roster (or five man travel squad) and is headed to Japan. Has had an impressive spring.

Barring a setback in spring training, Jobe is in the starting rotation to start the 2025 season.
