  1. I did ok with the 50's but can't type very fast and ran out of time.
  2. Also some in northern Idaho around Couer D' Alene. I know because we used to follow the potato & onion trucks and pick up refuse after the trucks would hit a bump or navigate a curve too fast.
  3. Also remember an interview with a Chevy engineer about all the Vega problems. His reply was, "What do you expect from a $2000. car?"
  4. I also owned a '73 Vega (lemon yellow) . Drove it about 1000 miles before the oil problem started. Had no rear seats, kids had to lay down on the back panel wherever we went.
  5. When you get my age, everyone is younger. Now retired for 18 years and loving every minute.
  6. Hhhmmmm! Guess you're old enough to be my son!?!
  7. Hey Burt, you look like that guy we arrested in Kootenai County back in 1977.
  8. That's the spirit!
  9. Bert, you're starting to show your age! 😞
  10. Sorry I'm so late to answer your question. The 3rd base coach has more than one thing to relay to the runner coming in as well as any other runner approaching 2nd. Unfortunately, he only has 2 hands. Generally, if the runner needs to slide, he will be using both hands to indicate a slide and to which side of the bag. If a slide is not necessary, the left hand will be raised to indicate a stop at third with or without rounding the bag. The right hand will be pointing to where the ball is or where it is heading. If there is a second runner heading toward second, often the coach will be looking at that runner to insure he is catching the signals he is giving. So, as you can see the 3rd base coach has multiple duties all at the same time. Hope this helped.
  11. I'm 80. What's ogle???
  12. I don't know who is left. I'll take Kriedler if available.
  13. But without Reyes, H. Castro, W. Castro and Candelario, how is that not going to happen?
  14. I have to admit, with a drunk Bobby Laine at quarterback, what could possibly go wrong?
  15. I don't have that much karma!
  16. Cheer up folks. I've been doing this for over 70 years. I still remember the days when Van Patrick was telling us about the terrific homerun just hit by some rookie named Al Kaline or how some guy named Frank Lary just whipped the yankees again. It will get better.
  17. Don't know where to start with all this vitriol present. First do not confuse the relationship between Judaism and Christianity. While we worship the same God, almost, our paths differ greatly. The theology is too extensive to try to compare at this site. I recommend a college coarse at a Christian or Judaism college. The following link will give some insite as to why the Jews believe as they do. It does not apply to Christians in most cases. https://forward.com/life/403206/how-orthodox-jews-observe-the-commandment-to-not-wear-wool-and-linen/ Best of luck in your search for the truth.
  18. I apologize guys, I have to go do some work. I'll try to get back tomorrow, probably late in the day.
  19. I can't promise a reply, try P.R.A.Y.E.R. No area code.
  20. Unfortunely, it's still believed by some "christians as well as others". Notice the little "c".
  21. Absolutely correct! You are allowed to make your own decisions, right or wrong. Unfortunately, the opposite is not true. The lgbt community is constantly sueing Christian organizations and believers to accept their beliefs or suffer many hardships. Doesn't seem all have the right to their own beliefs without discrimination.
