For the stanks I do not think it is so much winning WS, although that is obviously a big part of it...more about staying relevant with all the big names.

Shamalyn has had some serious duds...like more of his movies are duds than are good at this point.

My wife used to work a similar shift. She would be getting home from work and I would be getting ready for work...I get hoe from work and she was on her way to work. She also likes Ozark, I never watched it.

I like the floor. A win is a win...even if preseason, I like it.

"Adult men"....what age is he talking about? I did not listen to it obviously. Basically I wear stuff that my wife thinks I look good in. I like to dress decent and be presentable, but really do not care what I wear. Wearing a pink shirt with small palm trees on it now and pink flamingo socks...whatever. When my wife tells me to hang up the jeans I will...because who cares..

I caved, it took many years, but my wife buys my clothes now because I really do not care what it is as long as it is comfortable, fits well and is not ridiculous. She bought about 4-5 different regular type shorts and I have been wearing those almost exclusively when going out in summer. My cargo shorts are all SUPER old and they really do not sell them anymore.

They are asking 4 mil...doubt someone pays 4 mil for that corner just to tear it down...you are paying for the brand and the name recognition...I mean the burgers are good, but they are not THAT good....yet people still flock just because of the name.

I would not mind that. I really just enjoy seeing guys playing hard. If they are not taking plays off and really giving it everything they got...I can get behind a team like that.

Anyone know where the majority of these games are being broadcast? I am itching for a little hockey, now that baseball is done for Detroit I am assuming most of the Wings games will be on Ballys?

I wanted to start a thread about the Pistons, because for the first time in a while I am pretty excited to watch some games and see what they can do this year. It has been since they traded Chauncey away since I have really paid attention. I watched some with Griffin and Drummond, but not much. I am planning on watching many more games this year. I Hope they gel and win some games.

Ren Fest traffic....took 45 minutes, literally to go from our parking spot to the main road...I thought FOR SURE there was an accident or the road was blocked or something...we went stretches of 4-5 minutes were we did not move an inch. Got up there and finally made the turn...no traffic whatsoever...extremely poor traffic management...there were cops all over

Campbell will be fine. Coaching with the talent he has. I really like going for it on 4th down though. I would have preferred runs as opposed to passes, but other than that we have been fairly competitive in these games and almost one against a really good team with practice squad guys all over our roster...he is not the problem. Not even close.

By all means we get a good player we should probably just get rid of him for a draft pick....to hopefully draft a player as good as the one we traded away...

What a crazy game. I love the fight this team has. They NEVER seem to give up or mail it in...it is awesome to watch.

And since we are on Peeves....the whole "Hack" thing....the word infuriates me and most of the things they are suggesting as "TIPS" are moronic.

Funny you brought this one up. I am in the market for an E Bike and when I get it thinking about using it to commute to work some days. The road I take is a 2 lane, mostly with no real shoulder or side walk etc...so I was sitting here trying to plot my route in a way that would not take me 30 extra minutes, but would also not hinder the other commuters using that road. I know if I was driving to work and we got backed up because of some moran on his bike I would get some serious road rage so noway would I put anyone else through that.

It would, but I think having Tram under handing a ball to Lou would be cool also. Tram is just kinda standing there while Lou hogs all the action! 🤣

TBF this IS the pet peeve thread...I would say 95% of them are pretty irrational.

I do not really follow College football, but I watch and listen etc...why is everyone so afraid of this game? Seems like a pretty solid win for UofM is in order here.

Finished up Midnight Mass last week and while I enjoyed it for the most part the ending fell a little flat with me. Almost done with Chapelwaite and the first 3 episodes or so I thought were really well done...this is also kind of falling flat a little. Still pretty good, but not living up to what it offered the first 3 or so IMO. I think I am still on episode 4-5 of Castle Rock, going to dive back into that when Chapelwaite is done.

Todays cars are different, but more than once I have been in a car with the engine off just BS'n with friends or something (waaay back in the day) and trying to start the car only to find out the blower motor was on or the headlights and the radio while someone was charging something etc. Old habits die hard. I sit in my truck quite a bit these days...have for the past 10 years or so. I eat lunch then hang in my truck most days (unless I take a walk) listening to whatever audio book I am currently into (Just After Sunset currently) and playing solitaire on my phone...95% of the time my truck is not running, but sometimes it is...just depends. What is the point of having modern conveniences and not using them to make your day/life better? Especially if they are so minor in the grand scheme of things.
