I dunno it did not compute for me. Marie knew the dude responsible, he was family.... her sisters husband was the king pin behind it all. I would imagine the diamonds are lost forever and the can was open so the card probably fell out, even if it did not...not sure how they put that together. I think he found like 3-4 of them before the lid opened up. Police probably just thought it was all trash. Maybe they did search the trash bin though..

Gotta say I was expecting....something else. I did expect jail or death. To me it was all about Saul wanting to show he was smarter than everyone else mixed with 3 other things....still had love for Kim and wanted to redeem himself to HER, wanting to be punished for the things he did and EGO, just like Walt. "Walter White could not have done it without me!" The ego may be all it was...I thought he felt like he deserved to be punished. Shows he is smarter by getting life +190 years in prison reduced to 7 years, gaming the system to the very end, knowing exactly what he was doing the entire time...only to throw it back in their faces by copping to it all in front of the judge. I am not sure why Marie was brought in. That just felt off to me. She had closure when Walt gave Skylar the coordinates, she knew how it went down, it was 7 years before or so...Saul was a background character in her husbands murder, I really did not like them bringing her back. The flashback scene...with Chuck...I was confused the whole time because I thought Lenny died...turns out I was wrong, but the whole time I was like this must be a scene from earlier in the year. Chuck having the book about time travel and that theme running through this episode. Walt ACTUALLY regretting the life he ended up with and Jimmy just being Jimmy. The look on Chucks face when Jimmy said "you would do it for me", knowing Chuck would most certainly NOT have done it for him. Kim, she DID get redemption of sorts. Her US Bar not expiring.....still not sure if she can practice with the confession, even if they did not prosecute. The guys on the bus chanting "Better Call Saul" and stomping their feet...kinda cheesy. I like how they caught him quickly, but that chase scene felt off. I don't know, I just expected something....... different. Maybe after a re watch it will come together, but for now I am left a little unsatisfied. I expected more. I did not hate it, but I did not love it either. Still thoroughly enjoyed the show from start to finish though.

A couple things after re-watching the last few episodes with the wife last night....Saul called Jessie Igor and then said Walt was Heisenberg...never heard that name before, wonder if that is just what people were calling Jessie on the streets...like the side kick/lab assistant to the monster. May just be a Saul thing....Walt was the cook and Jessie was the side kick. I wonder if Jimmys motivation to go back to scamming was finding out his stash is all gone or if it had something to do with Kim? I am leaning heavily on the cash issue...when they showed the divorce paper signing scene, even though Jimmy had to steel himself for it, he was super cold and short with it...I am sure he once cared for Kim, but I think once they are gone they are gone and he moves on pretty quick.

At least for now the last episode in this universe. I read Gilligans next series will be akin to the twilight zone. Sounds interesting and I would watch it. Apparently not episodic though...more a full on story. I appreciate what Black Mirror is trying to do for a modern day twilight zone, but there is not enough variety and the seasons are so far apart, not sure if they are even doing another season. Do Kim and Jimmy get a reunion of some kind? Who dies who lives? Still wondering how they wrap it up.

I do not use or check twitter at all, but back in the day I USED to use italics when I was being sarcastic. I thought it had a chance of catching on (I did not invent the idea or anything), but I rarely see people using italics for that reason any longer....now people just like to say whatever they want then if called on it, can go back and act like they were kidding or being ironic or something..it is great

I watch just about every game. I said I have not been LISTENING as much...ie all the talk etc. As far as I know his name is still Miguel Cabrera. Also everyone else blows..he blows...just not as much. -

I have not been listening, but watching the games...is he injured? If so sure. The team blows, all the players are playing well below what they should be playing at...all the kids who deserved a shot got one, Miggy is still Miggy. -

You just said exactly what I just said... -
It is not like Chris has press conferences every week....he talks once every couple years and just tells it like it is then I am 100% fine with that.

I am sure there were talks, but I also think the deal was just too good to turn down. Even if Stafford did not want to be traded he would have been gone with that offer anyway. I do not recall Stafford demanding anything, maybe he said he would be open to it or requested it, but those are different things IMO. Maybe just a semantical discussion. -

I am in favor of telling the truth and let things fall where they may. Not a fan of politic-ing or double speak. I favor this in ALL areas of life, even business.

Hard to tell IMO. It may be a little of both. For some reason I think it highly unlikely Al would trade JV without talking to the boss first, but maybe Chris gave him carte blanche....which is what a good owner does IMO, but looks like they had the wrong guy making all the wrong moves. Did Al really just trade JV without consulting the owner? I mean, JHC. Miggy and JV...those were 2 guys who were going to hit HUGE milestones in the next few years...who were the best at their positions. I was never in favor of trading either guy. I get giving the gm full control, but you would think Chris would also say something like "if you are thinking about trading either of these guys let me know first." They sold tickets at the LEAST. Something just does not smell right.

Also Miggy will play out his last year here 100%. I have no doubt about that.

I feel like we got a decent core of pitchers, just start dumping the badoos & Clemons etc. Build the hitting back up...we are historically dreadful...heard a stat about RPG today...worst since the early 1900's....

"What do you think?" "maybe" A good episode for sure. Not much to say. Glad they gave Kim most of this one, the parallel of Kim crying then immediately going to to Gene breaking the glass to get in the guys house was a cool touch. The tie in for Marions son being from Albuquerque finally pays off. Her son is a trouble maker, Gene lets it slip the laws are totally different in Albuquerque, which makes her suspicious to check into him. How much running/hiding can one person do before they are just done with it? It has to be exhausting. Jimmy grabs his stuff and takes off, but to where? Should be no happy ending for him....doubt it is death...the only other logical choice is being caught. Unless they bring some random character in to catch him and make him pay for something he did to someone...like Buffalo Bill situation almost. No happy ending though....MAYBE Kim gets one...or something close to it like Jessie. They cannot leave Kims story as is though.....gotta tie that up. I still think they can do a series with Jessie...he was a great character. Follow where he went and how he changed...I would watch that, but there is no other character minus MAYBE Gus who could get one, but Gus would have to be a prequel and too many years have passed. I doubt they ever do it, but I would watch a series set in current day with Jessie...introducing all kinds of new characters with different plot lines.

Ok so this kinda fits here.....Stranger Things....last episode of the last season....Eddie rippin Master of Puppets on top of the trailer.....awesome. Probably my favorite part of that whole season. Gave me Mad Max vibes with the doof, but a better riff.

Fan win projection after tonight will be +3 games AT LEAST. Eating the corn bread and drinking the kool aid. This team will not win more than 6 games. Why are we gushing about that? I kinda get it...good draft picks, we think we got the right coach now....but that is basically every regime change. Go out and surprise us and win 8-9 games and I will be impressed.
