Lombardi should be in line for a spot in detroit. what else does he need to do? i guess if he's going to be a center he'll need some defensive chops tjat he might not have yet, but offensivley he looks ready. he could be a prime trade candidate to shore up the blue line.

underwood has been davis warren-esque in his last two games. he's been awful. and against two of the worst defenses in the big ten. he was really good against washington and has been borderline unplayable since. he's a freshman and is having ups and downs. if he is ON, then maybe they have a shot. but this osu team is really really good.

lombardi is the one young player who has really shone out. danielson and mazur have been hurt. mazur got 3 goals on opening night and not much since.

ptsd. ohio state is built to beat michigan this year. michigan has an advantage by playing at home, but osu is a much much better team. no more first round picks on michigan's defense, and the only one they might have (derrick moore) they only play 50% of the time. plus, michigan is really injured. they could get lucky again like last year, but i think this is osu's year. wink is not a good dc and will get stomped.

i think seider played much better last night. very physical. unsurprisingly, edvinsson looks much better next to seider than he did next to asp. the vegas game will be a big test. vegas is big and physical, the kind of team that has given the wings a lot of problems in the past.

osu has ptsd from last year's game. michigan no longer has a defensive line full of first round nfl draft picks. osu is going to murder michigan this year.
