george sounds so old. and he misses so much stuff now. far be it for me to tell the legend what to do, but he must know he's just not that good anymore. -

Lets Goooooooo! cant help it, i liked the introductions. as long as i dont have to see tom gores. -
10 shots for the whole game and they won. kasper out there in some key spots playing well. seider and edvinsson seemed like they were on the ice for the whole game. playing young and fast instead of old and slow has some advantages after all. #freemazur

patrick kane is still a very talented offensive player.

i havent heard any rumors like that. yet. -
to a degree. usc hasnt won anything since pete carroll left and theyre still a draw (albeit a smaller one). notre dame is still a draw. tennessee. nebraska to a degree. i understand your point and there is some truth to it, but "being a good coach away" is true BUT that good coach gets poached quite quickly 9 times out of 10. you make it sound easy and it is not. msu was a solid team under dantonio and they were never the draw michigan is even when michigan sucks. and now no one givea two squirts about msu. it will return to relevance when they hire a good coach and then return to irrelevance the minute he leaves or michigan gets good. michigan will be watched even when brady hoke is their coach.

the bottom of the east is really really bad. and THIS is the year EVERYONE will tank. -
its not that those teams cant beat the marquee teams, its that not enough people care to watch. this is about eyeballs. for as bad as michigan and usc are this year, people watched that game. maryland and illinois beat both of them. when maryland plays illinois no one will care and hardly anyone will watch. michigan, ohio state, penn state, usc, oregon (until phil knight dies), those are the teams people will watch now. you can throw ucla, michigan state, washington, nebraska, and maybe wisconsin and iowa in the mix there as name programs or programs with some attachment to a big program (like msu or ucla). rutgers, maryland, purdue, indiana (i know this year is fun but lets be honest, that coach is moving on soon) northwestern, illinois, minnesota...not enough people care. if they want to join the super league, theyre going to need to do an oregon amd get a sugar daddy to fund the program. otherwise they'll be relegated to the second division.

what do you mean? -
they had to pay seider and raymond. that will be the reason they give. my response would be you had kasper, mazur, and potentially danielson in the AHL and instead you spent money on motte, veleno, fisher, and gustaffson. (not to mention copp and compher but those were signed for other reasons). there's your money savings to pay for ghost.

i cant wait for the pistons theme song, coupled with a hype video featuring Tom Gores shooting t shirts into the stands, Tom Gores walking the sidelines, and Tom Gores doing charity projects.

walman went from being underrated to very overrated very quickly. he was a good offenaive defenseman who was a liability on defense, was not physical, and could be pushed around. go back to the ottawa debacle and you'll see them target him every time. and he folded. couple that with the behind the scenes rumors about his attitude and i see why they moved him. and the fact that they had to attach a pick to it tells you what they league really thought about him. he's not on a bad deal, but they couldnt move him, and the only team that took him was the worst team in the league.

SEC is whooping the big ten's ass in ratings this year. only michigan-usc and ohio state-oregon delivered big ratings for the big ten. michigan-texas did too. most of the marquee big ten games are still to come like penn state-ohio state, michigan-oregon, and michigan-ohio state, but the big ten needs to step it up. but this is just going to highlight the deadweight in these conferences. why do northwestern, purdue, illinois and other schools get the same amount as michigan and ohio state? at least 1/2 the schools in the big ten are a drag on the conference and bring nothing to the table. when the super conference arrives, things may look very different. for the immediate future, the networks are going to want to see the big boys play each other every year. none of this 2024 penn state schedule with one big game on it. the big boys will have to run the gamut.

almost all those linemen are seniors. well, except the 3* kids they decided to play at right tackle and center. -
the browns cant take garrett's cap hit AND watson's guaranteed money cap hit. their books are going to be amazingly effed up. otoh, they ****ed up enormously signing watson for that much guaranteed money and they are basically screwed for the next three years until he's off the books. they cant cut him. also otoh, the browns need to get rid of anything of value and get picks. theyre done for the next two or three seasons.

not so sure. there are obviously significant elements within the donor base that dislike harbaugh. i can see there being an institutional aversion to bringing another harbaugh in. and the natural reaction from "untested assistant coach" (which moore is) is to go to "tested head coach". and we also dont know who will be available or who the next hot prospect will be. -

there's no excuse for the oline to be this bad. no excuse for them not to know how to use orji. they just came into this year thinking they were going to run last year's offense without multiple nfl draft picks and a first round nfl qb. again, moore is al avila. he was there when the hall of fame coach/gm left so he got hired. as if coaching pixie dust will rub off. and now were stuck. theyre going to lose all the rest of their games except northwestern, they'll lose recruits, and the cycle will begin. next year will be a "prove it" year and they wont prove it. but they wont fire him because "he needs time to put his plan into place". so the program will degrade and the next coach will come in with nothing. only this time there isnt a harbaugh available to save them.
