  1. at least we have our ready made excuse for when cade isnt the second coming of luka doncic. "well, he was hurt..."
  2. until they push that back too.
  3. i don't understand what russ does for the lakers, other than have another face to put on a billboard.
  4. true, hopefully bill o'brien becomes some team's gm soon. you never know.
  5. the best thing about greiss playing well is that it will raise his value on the trade market.
  6. i think they'll be better than last year, but will still be a bottom five-eight team. Let's focus on the positive: the hawks are getting blown out again and are in cap hell without first round picks for a couple years.
  7. let's not get ahead of ourselves. despite the score, tampa bay skated circles around detroit. vancouver isnt going to be very good and they outplayed the wings but lost. columbus is one of the worst teams in the league. and all three games were at home. let's hold off before we start printing playoff tickets.
  8. namestikov! EN. 5 points out of 6. honestly, this is the only game they've looked like the better team.
  9. no one is trading a 1st round pick for decker. if they were offered a first for him, they should jump on it.
  10. red wings dominated that period.
  11. i don't know. we have it bundled with disney + and hulu +. we have so much streaming that my wife has us signed up for, i cant keep track. if youre into soccer, espn+ is great. i get spanish, german, and dutch leagues. plus english second division. peacock has english league. paramount has italy.
  12. disjointed first period. 0-0. greiss played well.
  13. espn +. its amazing. great picture and you get every single out of market game.
  14. i'm pretty sure management has seen all they need to see from jared goff. he's not a good nfl qb and hasnt been one for a long time. he was propped up in LA by a great offensive coach, a good nfl line, and todd gurley in his mvp caliber prime. as soon as gurley regressed, goff went from serviceable to bad. now he's been placed in an awful position. he's bad and he doesnt have any weapons around him to be the best he could be, which is "average." trading assets to bring in a middling receiver that another team doesnt want would be dumb for a team going nowhere who needs all the future assets it can get. the benson trade was bad enough, lets not double down on that mistake.
  15. they're going to get waxed by the bulls too.
  16. i dont think so. ohio state is one of the most professional teams in college football, to the point where justin fields admitted he'd never actually been on campus, and they always get up for michigan. theyre still kids and stuff like that still matters to most of them. i have no knowledge if thats actually true, but it seems like it to me.
  17. i wonder if he skates well enough to play in the nhl? can he be like a bigger holmstrom who you just plug in front of the net on the power play? can he do anything else?
  18. indiana and nebraska both severely outplayed michigan state. this is a rivalry game, so throw it all out the window. and the transitive property doesnt work in college football, but michigan has been the more impressive team this season. just beat northwestern, then we can worry about msu.
  19. tucker should leave now before they play michigan, ohio state, and penn state.
  20. but if you get the qb wrong, you're usually stuck for the next four years (ask the bears). unless you get it SO wrong, you're picking #1 again next year and have the balls yo admit you screwed up the last pick -which usually requires the last regime being fired first (ask the cardinals). i dont want to take a qb just to take one when this team has so many needs and the draft has some really good prospects at those positions of need (linebacker, cornerback, defensive end). and what they need almost as much as a qb is a big time receiver. i'd rather get a olave or a dotsun with the rams pick than chase a qb who is falling.
  21. i'd be worried about thibodeaux staying healthy, but if he is, he is what the lions need: an athletic freak, quick twitch pass rusher. hutchinson seems like a guy who will be a really good player, but isnt that type of uber athlete the lions just dont have. more solid than spectacular.
