he should be, but as long as they still have that fat expansion fee coming and that massive tv contract he should be ok. its very hard to create an all star game when none of the participants give a damn. they cant force them to care. they'll try some international thing but i'm not sure that will work either. the us players simply wont care. there is no us-canada rivalry to motivate star players.

i'd much rather have ivey than beasley if that's the choice. ivey is dymanic and improving. this is likely the best you'll ever see of beasley. the fact that the pistons have risen to the amazing heights of a .500 team in the east after 10+ years of awfulness and 1) dont have any assets other than a few players; 2) are likely to have negative draft assets after this season; and 3) are likely capped out, is a testament to how poor troy weaver was as a gm.

ausar will be an interesting player moving forward. can you have a "star" player in today's nba who cannot shoot outside of 5 feet and isnt 7'0? he has so many other skills, but the one skill that means the most in today's league eludes him and he will likely never have it. seeing this team in a legit nba playoff series will be fascinating to see how other teams attack him and duren.

seeing cindy crosby and mario lemieux together makes me puke with how lucky pittsburgh has been. tanking and getting lucky to get two uber generational players. just to remind pittsburgh and the rest of the league how good the red wings were to be so good for so long with fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh round hall of fame players and ZERO help from the league. bitches.

part of me feels bad for stacey king (a very very small part of me). having to spew garbage like ayo dosumnu as an all star or josh giddey as a great offensive player. he must need to go home and shower every night to wash the bull**** off of him.
