I don't feel like the Vikings added a huge amount in the off-season, although we do know the difference a coach can make. We split last year, both winning at home on the last play. Should be evenly matched. Normally I'd give the nod to the home team, but I have been impressed with DC's ability to piece together an OL that actually performs - & we get Ragnow back. Late interception seals it. Lions - 33 Vikings - 31

I was just talking to a co-worker about Fontes this morning. He's originally from PA, so a big Steelers fan. Chuck Schmidt's handling of the team after the `91 playoff win was much more to blame for their demise than Fontes.

I don't know if you're being cheeky & facetious, but I think it'll be different with Hutch - given he's a local kid. I don't see the organization letting him walk as easily.

I was worried about this game after their week 1 win over the Pack. Hoping week 2 Minny shows up Sunday.

I'm glad they went outside the organization as well. Still surprised they let Al run this last draft.

I am still convinced that the key to Goff's success is and will be who is in his ear. I think it's why Campbell took over play-calling last year & why they went ahead & hired Ben Johnson as the OC in the off-season. Goff is one of the many who does not respond to yelling or macho head games - Having a coaching staff in place that is not tied to scheme, but in making the best play calls and decisions for the personnel they have.

I am so glad I saw a comment in there about this place. After moving 4 years ago I had gotten away from MTS anyways. It kinda feels like home here - mostly nice, a few nuts.
