  1. With the Spring Game behind us & recruiting slowing down a bit as we head toward summer, I figured this was as good a time as any to start fresh with a thread for the new season. Saw this on the Athletic, which is a paywall but fairly cheap. Feldman calls this Harbaugh's best team. https://theathletic.com/4402667/2023/04/12/michigan-football-jim-harbaugh-most-intriguing-team/
  2. Not necessarily. If they've traded up early & there's still a QB available at 3, that pick suddenly becomes very valuable for anyone wanting ahead of Indy. We can replenish what we gave away to move up. I should preface that by saying I'm not in favor of moving up at all in this draft.
  3. Especially when you add his age into that equation.
  4. A lot like I feel about this draft.
  5. Could also potentially use that to sweeten the offer for Teddy Bridgewater to back-up Goff.
  6. What a P.O.S.
  7. I understand the thinking behind #6 being a "free" pick, so we can afford to swing for the fences, I just don't think any of the QBs in this draft are worth doing that for. I'd rather take Carter/Anderson, & then pull the trigger on a guy like Dorian Thompson-Robinson out of UCLA. Also very athletic, good arm, & escapability - especially since it looks like they're gonna sit this year anyways.
  8. The picks next year are what would move me to make that trade. I think next year's draft is deeper & stronger at the top, & I don't think Minnesota is going to be able to put together so many lucky 1-score wins this coming season. They should be decent picks.
  9. Certainly a rational decision on Dickinson's part - but sad that Juwan Howard has taken the program to a place where someone has to leave to be on a competitive team.
  10. & now Dickinson enters the portal. If you can't keep a guy like Dickinson happy ... https://247sports.com/college/michigan/Article/Michigan-center-Hunter-Dickinson-enters-the-Transfer-Portal-207089718/?fbclid=IwAR1hKHx2b1i31yQ4tIMlQiNP8tc3RzBj1qrpbG8piLVo1-mrmqkVz0bKP_U
  11. Wow. Didn't see that coming. I do love how Holmes is filling gaps with short deals as he builds thru the draft.
  12. I'm not doing that until I know Skoronski can play T in the NFL. Maybe if they draft him & he's working out a trade deadline deal for future draft capital, but I'm not playing around with Goff's protection, given that Sudfeld is our only other option right now.
  13. 1 of the co-owners there is a good friend we've known since he was a kid. He named the place after his gramma.
  14. I love the non-answer. Keep `em guessing
  15. Caleb Williams from USC is the BIG prize next year
  16. Not a movie, but we watched the Waco documentary on Netflix this weekend. It is amazing to me that the 2 Branch Davidians they got to talk STILL believe David Koresh was God. A little less amazing at how bad the gov't botched that whole thing.
  17. Glad Jett is going too. I'm on record saying I think Juwan should be replaced now .. but he'll get next year.
  18. That SDSU/Creighton game was really good. Happy to see Brian Dutcher finally get a chance at a Final Four with his own team, after all those years under Steve Fisher, including at Michigan.
  19. This is precisely why I'd rather trade down than anything. See if the Rams or another team that may wanna go QB wants to move up because 3 of them are already off the board - Get a couple more picks later or next year.
  20. I could see this happening simply because I don't think Jalen Carter is in the cards. Too many concerns for #6. This is 1 reason you stockpile picks.
  21. I see what you did there.
  22. I may have told this before, but I grew up a Vikings fan. LOVED Fran Tarkenton, Sammy White, Chuck Foreman, the Purple People Eaters .. then the Lions drafted Gary Danielson. That summer, Danielson came to our little small town & spent an entire afternoon with all of us kids, signing autographs, throwing us passes. It was so cool. From that moment on I've been a Lions fan. & until recently, I swore if I ever saw Gary Danielson again, I'd punch him right in the mouth.
