The Jets just signed Pionk today for 6 years at $7 million a year, the website predicted 6 years at $6,952,400. I'm not sure I'd go that far....Veleno was a big nothing too. He's currently stuck on Chicago's fourth line and they have one of the worst rosters in the league. But again, they both suck and I'd argue they have similar impact lol.

I'm really growing to despise watching Rasmussen play hockey. It's like he goes out of his way to do the least impactful play every time. I can't believe he had a stretch where I was actually excited about him as a player, that seems to be completely gone.

They will have to sign 6 UFA and 4 RFA skaters though....it will be interesting to see how they decide to spend it. This is probably Ehlers' last big contract at age 29 so he might want to test FA to get the most money with teams eyeing that cap increase. Pionk is kind of in the same boat for them too. Just at a quick glance I'd say Ehlers is probably....one of the top 3 or 4 pending UFA with Marner, Bennett and maybe.... Boeser and Donato? Among forwards at least.
