Tralmaks, 28, spent the 2024-25 season with Rytíři Kladno in the Czech Extraliga and ranked among the team leaders with 23 goals (1st), 28 assists (1st), 51 points (1st), a plus-four rating (T1st), 66 penalty minutes (1st), two power play goals (T7th), 13 power play points (2nd), two shorthanded goals (1st), two game-winning goals (T1st) and 143 shots (T2nd) in 48 games. His 51 points were the most of any player in Czechia’s top professional league. The 6-foot-4, 209-pound forward played the entire 2023-24 campaign with Rytíři Kladno, recording 32 points (21-11-32) and 34 penalty minutes in 52 regular-season games, in addition to five points (3-2-5) in four postseason contests. Tralmaks has also collected 41 points (22-19-41), a plus-23 rating and 42 penalty minutes in 87 games over parts of three seasons with the American Hockey League’s Providence Bruins from 2020-23. Large Latvian dude, sounds like he plays fourth line minutes for the national team. With his size it sounds like he could at least play a checking role if the offense doesn't translate. Probably just AHL fodder but maybe he randomly hits and becomes the Wings' version of Balinskis in Florida (a guy can dream). Leading the Czech league in scoring is at least intriguing but who knows.

MBN coming over when Skelleftea is done....they got spanked by Färjestad today

No sense in doing anything else at this point imo

Honestly didn't expect to see the NBA put out an hour long highlight package for Cade, but I'm here for it
-
To be fair, he wasn't doing anything to help the Red Wings for those ~2 years he wasn't their GM
-
At the very least get him in the Grand Rapids playoff run.......if that's legal I can't remember eligibility rules with my headache right now

Plante was probably the best Freshman in the NCAA this year The Wings might have another intriguing Goalie prospect on their hands as well: Guimond might be the Red Wings’ most under-the-radar prospect. The team took a flier on him in the 2023 draft, 148 picks after Augustine (169th overall, in the sixth round). All he’s done is go 15-0-0, the best start ever for a CHL goalie. He has a 1.52 GAA and .948 save percentage but hasn’t appeared in enough games to qualify for the league lead. That’s because he started the season with Cedar Rapids of the USHL before a November rules change making CHL players eligible to play in the NCAA prompted him to join Moncton. Guimond (6-4, 175) is committed to play at Yale next season, Lyon’s alma mater. https://www.mlive.com/redwings/2025/03/red-wings-pipeline-looks-promising-at-key-position.html\

Ottawa traded for Ullmark, it wasn't a free agency signing I take a short break and people start pining for Andreas Athanasiou 😂

Think I have to take a break from here, stay well everyone!

Insanely bad luck + playing against hot goalies, bad recipe

Guessing Talbot couldn't see the release and just guessed but woof he basically jumped out of the way of the puck. Larkin also needs to stay inside / underneath his man on the boards, when he rotated against the boards it gave the Sen a clear path to curl out for a dangerous pass. Blah.

Ah so this will be the reasoning he uses to walk back the never turning off Starlink for Ukraine

Interesting Joey V quote post trade: “I thought I’d have a good opportunity there, but things weren’t working out. I couldn’t really tell you why. But everything involved with the coaching change (Todd McLellan replacing Derek Lalonde right after Christmas) and all that stuff — just couldn’t find a real groove to the year, didn’t feel too good about my game, getting out of the lineup a little bit and having to deal with that. Just a lot going on. I thought another opportunity somewhere else (could be good) and see what that brings.” Sounds like he could have asked to be traded, but I'm also a bit surprised at his quote. McLellan put him on the top line for a few games when he took over and Joe did what he does.....skate around and not do much else. With the Blackhawks running basically no systems with a **** roster I guess he could potentially "blossom" there but it certainly won't be into a winning hockey player.

Not sure if I've heard of that site before, interesting. I haven't had time to dig into any prospects myself so I can't really judge anything, but I'm with buddha based on the description without really knowing anything haha. I see the score has them taking a winger as well but Carter Bear. His description does feel a little Yzerman-y to me. It feels like the Wings are in on late risers in mocks a lot so it'll be interesting to see what shakes out.

Shameful third period by the wings after playing so well in the first half of the game
-
Awful start for the third. Talbot should have had that shorthander.
-
Welp Larkin is hurt
