    They're just trying to fill their AHL roster with all the call ups and injuries. They also signed a bunch of guys to tryout deals too.

    I am guessing this has to do more with other things going on in life, but man this turn of events for the Wings has just been a punch in the gut for me. Going from Larkin only missing a game or two hopefully and acquiring Faulk to having no centers and looking at no playoffs yet again....depressing.

    Tralmarks had a really good Olympics and I've been wanting to give him a look since the offseason when they signed him. Big guy, seems like he can play up and down the lineup. Dries plays center so that's purely why he's up. Smaller guy sadly.

    Looked like a pretty egregious too many men penalty on the gwg there, Tkachuk is joining the play from the bench and the guy coming off for him is nowhere near the bench. But at the same time I wouldn't ever expect the NHL to call that especially against the Panthers.

    Red Wings lead going into the second intermission, Panthers will have less than 20 seconds of power play left to start the third. Hard to feel good even with the Wings leading with Copp out now.

    Oh no, Nosek fell on Copp's leg awkwardly on a faceoff....he has to be helped off. Hopefully that isn't serious now the Wings are missing their top two centers. edit: blah copp wasn't putting any weight on his leg going down the hallway that I could see

    I hope I'm wrong but Pacheco seems kind of cooked after all of his injuries. Doesn't seem to have the same speed and doesn't force missed tackles.

    I think with the game last night MBN's contract can no longer slide so hopefully he's up from the AHL permanently

    Among ducks fans Gibson had a bit of a reputation as a guy who is careful with his own body and won’t try to play through injuries. So I’m hoping this is just something small again like the stinger.

    Well if Patrick Bacon's computer is telling us that the Wings got worse replacing JBD with Faulk then we are doomed! If my fancy stat bot told me that I'd just keep it to myself honestly. What a joke. I went to look at his account to see who he was and I see I have him blocked already lol.

    I hate losing Buch, makes more sense there weren't more picks. In the end though, he's a very small guy and probably a long shot to make a ton of noise in the NHL. I always thought he was underrated in prospect lists though so I guess we'll see if I just like every Wing prospect.
