    Wins/Losses/OTL: 42-34-6 Points: 90 Playoffs (Yay/Nay): Nay Playoff seeding (if yay above): Young player to watch: Lucas Raymond, still only 21 and the youngest player on the team. Added a lot of muscle this offseason.

    ESPN+ has been good in the States in my opinion, though I'm out of luck if they put games on NHL Network which I do not have access to. I have subscribed to AHL TV in the past and the quality is hit or miss.

    I certainly care about it, the NHL basically instituting their own Don't Say Gay rule is an awful look for the league in my opinion. It isn't shocking because hockey culture is one of the most toxic things I have ever experienced but it still is bull**** in my mind. I have to imagine queer hockey fans care quite a bit, just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean no one cares about it.

    It really is baffling, I have no idea what our scouts were thinking with Cholowski (no hockey IQ) or Givani Smith (can't skate among other things) let alone taking them both in the top 50 picks. I don't even recognize the fourth or fifth round picks' names at this point and that is saying a lot haha. Guess this is the opening night roster?

    I'm shocked Cholowski is still getting camp invites, it feels like he could carve out an okay career somewhere in Europe honestly

    He honestly played really solidly for Florida last season, I was happy with his signing (and unhappy with Reimer) and now I'm worried that Lyon is going to get scooped by another team on waivers.

    I think Compher has looked great this pre-season, he brings a lot of little things to his line. He's basically what I thought Copp was going to be... Beautiful play and shot by Simon to win it. Sure he makes some mistakes and takes penalties but he's looked good overall I've thought. I think he's at least making it tough to send him down.

    Honestly I think the kid could play in the NHL right now, but it might be beneficial to send him to juniors to dominate.

    Veleno and Kostin had a little early chemistry. Holl made a nice, strong defensive play on Ovechkin, nice to see.

    Ya for sure I would hope he wouldn't try that in the NHL, he would get lit up at the blueline with how the defense was set up. Still nice to see his skating and stickhandling though. Kid is on fire right now:
