  1. One of our more mysterious picks:
  2. Got lost in the draft shuffle
  3. Reading about Anton Johansson, he's super intriguing too. Big, apparently can skate pretty well. He's young and already had a few games in the SHL. If Hakan likes him then I like him!
  4. Crap I made edits to that list oh well. They're drafting some strong names at the very least.
  5. Well so far i love this Russian pick, seeing some Panarin and Kucherov comps James seems like a Draper Mazur-like pick, hopefully he develops a bit at North Dakota but this pick kinda worries me https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/dylan-james-is-unds-top-nhl-draft-prospect So far: 1st #8 - C Marco Kasper, 6'1 Left ----------------- 2nd #40 - LW Dylan James, 6'0, Left 2nd #52 - W Dmitri Buchelnikov, 5'9 Right (Capitals pick from Mantha-trade) ----------------- 3rd #73 --> Traded for G Ville Husso. (STL drafted C Aleksanteri Kaskimäki) ----------------- 4th #105 4th #113 (Vegas-pick, traded for 2020 5th, selected G Jesper Vikman 125.overall) 4th #129 (Colorado-pick, traded for Patrik Nemeth at 2021 deadline) ----------------- 5th #137 ----------------- 6th #169 --> Traded away for C Mitchell Stephens. ----------------- 7th #201 7th #212 (Los Angeles -pick, traded for Troy Stecher at 2022 deadline)
  6. I think the first guy led his league in rookie scoring so hopefully there's some offense there.
  7. I have no idea who these players are but the Russian the wings took sounds intriguing
  8. Husso - Ned should be a solid tandem (hopefully)
  9. Only one player in the entire league he played in scored 30 goals last season (that player is 8 years older than Marco). If a draft eligible player could score 30 goals in a SHL season they would probably be the first overall pick haha. It just isn't your typical junior league but a real pro league where a player has to play a complete game against men.
  10. I mean it isn't "good" per se but he's a teenager playing against grown men in one of the toughest leagues in the world to generate offense. The fact that he played 46 games on Rogle at all means he's a really solid player. Lucas Raymond scored 4 goals in 33 games his draft season and then 6 goals in 34 games the next season for some SHL context.
  11. Coyotes trading up for Geekie... dicey dicey
  12. Dang it Steve you're supposed to go against what everyone predicts!! Hope Kasper is a good one.
  13. Nazar is my final answer
  14. Lots of options for the Wings here with that defender going to chicago?
  15. Kemell, Savoie or Nazar for me I think
  16. I am absolutely shocked Cooley goes before Wright what the....
  17. Well then... Wright is dropping.
  18. Still a bit shocked it isn't Wright but some excitement isn't bad!
  19. I like that trade for Ottawa a lot. Maybe he doesn't re-sign but that's a great addition for largely question mark draft picks. I hope the Wings don't trade for Dach he seems like a bust.
  20. I think Gauthier will be gone by the Wings pick for sure. Kasper I have no idea what to think to be honest.
  21. I completely missed that Prashanth mocked him to the Wings, or maybe I saw it and now my brain is trying to pass it off like an original thought haha. I have seen Nazar all over rankings, Elite Prospects had a nice video breakdown of some of his offensive play and he definitely intrigues me. I think the Wings will be able to get a player with some great offensive skill at the very least and if one of the best D drop to them then that works too haha.
  22. I think Frank Nazar would be an interesting name to keep in mind for the Wings' pick tonight too. He seems to have a really intriguing offensive game... I wonder how Yzerman and company view him.
  23. Buffalo also has some interesting prospects I wouldn't mind moving Bert for any of their assets there. Matthew Tkachuk is apparently in play to get traded at the draft here as well, I know Montreal is shopping Anderson too. A couple guys that play similar games could make it tough to get a good return here.
  24. With the draft almost upon us I will say I think I have settled on Savoie for the Wings' pick of guys who I think will definitely be there. If someone like Kemell slides a little that would be great too. I feel like with how often Kasper is linked to Detroit it won't be him haha.
  25. Could call our old friend Ken Holland about a Dylan Holloway package, it would be hilarious if the Oilers got more offense. It'll be really interesting to see if Dylan extends on the 13th or not.
