  1. WOW! That's so damn cool.
  2. I was a fan of it, they were too top heavy and Bert's skills will help drive any line. Vladdy works hard on the top line so I don't mind him there at all, gives Larkin some space to wheel around. It is a shame they have to spread out their top wingers due to a lack of top flight centers but what can you do.
  3. Oh nice, thanks for looking that up! I mostly just want them preserved for my own collection to be honest, but if they somehow were worth a ton (not likely based on this estimate) I would probably move them for my dad.
  4. LOL can't believe that turned into a win, Buffalo stinks
  5. TIE GAME! Larkin from Fabbri
  6. Nice shorthanded goal for the Wings!
  7. Can't wait for Blashill to get his roster so they'll show up to play on the road every now and then. At least work has been busy for me so I've barely watched.
  8. I had no idea the game is going on already, losing 0-1
  9. I mean it is Buffalo... ya you're probably right
  10. I actually have no idea. My dad gave me a set (or near set) of these to figure that out haha. Planning on getting them appraised and encased or something like that but I'm not entirely sure the best way to go about it.
  11. No one impressed by the Jobe how about a slightly older 1907 Ty Cobb?
  12. I mostly collect hockey but I am slowly getting into collecting baseball. I was very excited to pull this the other week:
  13. I was mildly surprised Larkin was the Wings' all star over Seider but it also could just make sense for the roster construction
  14. ....the Ken Holland who literally hasn't fired a head coach as a GM??
  15. I can't wait for Blashill to be gone or at least for him to be forced into playing actual hockey with a stronger roster. Watching the Wings dump and chase on a 5 on 3 power play the other night and play the trap when down big against the Kings was infuriating. Crazy how their power play is once again buttcheeks with them doing the dumb drop passes in the neutral zone that he seems to love. No matter who the power play coach is it always seems to revert back to this bs. They even shuffled players around and now their handedness seems to take away potential passing and shooting lanes on their power play by design. Then we have to listen to him after every game talking about how the team wasn't ready to go. Longest tenured coach in the NHL with nothing to show for it. Team routinely starts late and can't win on the road. Barely ever seem to steal games. The roster isn't great but what exactly is he doing here?
  16. I read somewhere he is staying in Sweden but will be involved in helping develop the defense (by watching European prospects in person and US games on TV I guess?) and be a sounding board for Yzerman on moves, etc. Steve was VP of Hockey OPs under Holland (I am pretty sure) so this is probably a way for him to get into the management side of it slowly I would think. Seems like a lot like what Kronwall does over in Europe with the defense prospects but not as direct on ice and more... overall focused I would imagine.
  17. With DMac these days I'm guessing lots of joints
  18. Hopefully this is a creative way around the salary cap and we can get him on the ice (only half kidding)
  19. I wonder if he realizes that it is part of his job to make sure his team is ready to start games? It seemed like he had them playing the freaking trap in the second period last night, I had to turn it off.
  20. Well I guess my wife did me a favor…
  21. So my wife got too nervous about the Covid outbreak so I sold my tickets. Incredibly sad right now haha.
