    Who would have thought Cleveland, KC, and Detroit would comprise half of the 2024 AL playoff participants? BTW, the Tigers finished 20-12 against the AL East. Been a while.

    Bingo. I highly doubt we see Maeda, Mize, and Montero back to back to back, especially after cutting a 5-run lead to 5-4.

    They promoted Jobe with the intention of using him in the playoffs, I believe.

    I read an article by a KC writer earlier this year. The gist: Witt is the first Royal to post an OPS+ above 140 since the George Brett era. That is more than 3 decades. Astounding.
