Why do people think he bought three beauty pageants? That doesn't mean that all the accusations are true, but it means I don't feel bad for him either way.

I didn't say they were the violent side. I said the violence MAY be instigated by the left. If we get a right wing sweep, there won't be much reason for the right to get violent. It will start out as protests, but protests can get violent. It won't sit well with a lot of people that the President atempted a coup four years before. Lots of people on the left have weapons. 20% of Democrats own guns, and it only takes a fraction of a percent to make trouble. But there is one reason we might not have much violence. Men are the violent ones and the majority of the men in the country will be thrilled by a Trump presidency.

What was dismissed was the level of right wing violence you predicted. There have been pockets here and there, but nowhere close to what you predicted. Not yet anyway. I think the next four years are going to be ugly if Trump wins, but the ugly stuff may be instigated by the left. I wouldn't blame them, but just saying.

He is great for billionaires if they can manipulate him which seems not very difficult. They might not like him so much if his chaos starts to affect them negatively.

Bezos has more wealth than the entire United States treasury. I think he can find a way to get Trump out of the way if need be. Then again, Mush does too.

No, I mean if people are worried that Orange Hitler is planning to have people killed, I think the big companies would discourage that and I think they have more influence in our county than political wonks are willing to admit.

That's the worst thing about Trump. I have no confidence that he is on my side. I mean if he wouldn't even keep his VP safe, why would I think he's going to keep anyone else safe? I view him as the enemy and I have never felt that way about any President regardless of how much I disagreed with them.

I feel like the super wealthy who own this country would not be interested in mass extermination. That wouldn't be good for business. Would it?

I wouldn't leave the country over politics which is why I am not thinking of leaving. Intellectually, this country is dead to me now. There is little interest among the masses in science or truth or any of the principles which guide my life. However, it is still a good place for me to live my day to day life. At my age, I would only leave if I thought another country would provde a significatly better lifestyle and I don't think that would be that easy to find. I guess I could reconsider when I am comfortably ready to retire.

I don't expect it to get bad enough for me personally where uprooting my entire life is going to be a good solution. Every country has its problems and Europe is getting more conservative too. Plus, any problems we have here are going to spill over into the rest of the world unless we lose influence.

I mostly agree. As with every young player, I think there is a very wide range of outcomes including many bad ones. I think McAuliffe would be a good outcome as a player with 8 consecutive above average years in his prime. I also think it's a reasonable target. If he moves to first base, then hitting like McAuliffe would not be such a good outcome, but he does have the potential to do better than that.

When it comes to physical scouting, I am pretty bad too.

I was talking to my Israeli friend the other day. She lived here for several years, but now is living in Israeli. She left long before Trump was in the picture, but pays close attention to what is happening here. She is a psychologist who flat out said he is a psychopath (not that we needed confirmation). She matter of factly asked if I was preparing to leave the country. I'm not.
