There won't be a next Trump. He's a freak who has totally conned 40% of the electorate. If there is one, I hope they expose him a lot more quickly. I have no problem wth the media supporting a conservative candidate who is intelligent and sane. I wouldn't vote for that person, but I would consider them qualified.

If mainstream is totally on board with Trump's opponent, then it's about time. He is one of the worst human beings in America and they've been letting get away with murder for 9 years.

I think he's under the radar because he moves around so much, but he's been really good - gets on base, runs well and is a strong defender. The only thing missing is power. He is also two years younger than Bregman. If he didn't get injured, I think he would atract more attention than Bregman.

Without the injury, he'd be one of the elite free agents on the market and I think the Tigers would not get involved in that. With the injury, perhaps they can get him on a shorter-term deal.

There is no doubt that income equality has steadily gotten worse for decades and that it isn't being addressed enough, not even by the Democrats. We do more for the wealthy than anybody else. I actually do think that many Democrats are out of touch elitists. Rural areas in trouble have been largely been ridiculed over the years. The states are called fly over states and the residents are called rednecks. Then they tell them that they have to be nice to the big city minorities who are also disadvantaged (in a different and worse way). This is part of why rural states hate Democrats. What they got wrong was not recognizing that Trump is even worse.

I do not believe the assassination attempt was staged, but I don't think he was hit by a bullet either. I think he was hit by schrapnel. It's just hard to believe that a bullet from an AR-15 would do so little damage. Whether he knew that he was not hit by a bullet at the moment of his almost too good to be true photo op, I am not sure.

Yes, I didn't explain myself in my original post. I figured it was kind of given in this thread that spending => debt ==> printing which is why I just skipped to the printing part.

So, which recent president hasn't overspent? Which one didn't contribute substantially to the debt? Which one genuinely tried to fix the problem? There have been congresspeople that talked about debt, but nobody has really tried to do anything about it.

As you know, the printing money thing has nothing to do with Harris, Tump or Biden. Neither of them caused the problem and neither of them will fix it as long as Wall Street benefits.

It certainly looked staged...until I found out that somebody was killed. Trump probably wouldn't mind seeing someone died if it was to his benefit, but I don't think his team would take the chance of getting caught.

I think we already have an oligarchy, but this arrangement would certainly make it easier for them.
