    Both are injury risks, but as long as Lorenzon and Rodriguez are on a roll the Tigers should not suffer any long slumps. Both have been pleasant surprises.

    It's not that unusual. I don't like fake exaggerated laughs, but I see it often.

    It doesn't start like this. Predators find vulnerable people and get them to trust to the point where they can manipulate them. At that point, they start abusing them. Coming from a supportive family environment, I don't relate to it either, but it's a common phenomenon I had read that she had been a victim of domestic violence growing up.

    I don't belong to a party and never will. I distrust all high level politicians. I am just more in line with the stuff the Democrats pretend to care about versus the stuff that the Republicans pretend to care about.

    The majority of pitchers wind up with arm problems no matter what they do in any era. I think pitching is just an unnatural activity which takes a toll on most arms.

    It is interesting that you seem really positive about the Tigers this year compared to me and you have them winning only 3 more games than me!

    Dombrowski didn't seem to care about service time much either. Personally, I'd rather they bring up players when they are ready. Holding somebody back who is ready in order to manipulate service time is smart in theory but could do more harm in terms of good will and might even lose games in some cases.

    I am always looking at the current year, but I don't expect them to contend for the playoffs all season. There is some hope they could sneak in there because the division is weak, but that would be a bonus.

    I agree with this. Getting them all to be healthy at the same is going to be the big challenge. We won't know if that can happen until next time next year. What I'm watching for this year is to see what hitters can be part of their future.

    Yes, it's headed in the right direction. I just hope it gets there in time for the 2024 election. Biden is not responsible for causing or fixing inflation, but he'll surely get didn't blamed for it if it's too high in 2024.

    yeah, I think only a small percentage of fans, especially older ones, know what OPS is. Awareness of advanced stats has increased remarkably in online communities in the past dozen years or so, but when I talk to fans in real life, most of them are still in the 20th century with respect to baseball stats.

    Gibson is a smarter broadcaster than I expected him to be and he used to be very good. Unfortunately, his health is slowing him down a lot.
