A while ago I had planned to retire at 62. I am now 60 and plan to go to 70. Everything has changed in the last few years - some good and some bad. The bad is that my parent's long-term care is costing me a fortune and has made me realize that you can never really have enough to retire comfortably. The good is I can now work remotely most of the time which makes work less stressful. Plus, I like my job for the most part. At this point, I'd love to be in a position where I COULD retire, but I don't mind working another 10 years.

I don't know if you can really blame anyone in particular. On one hand, We lagged behind many developed countries in preventing Covid and Covid deaths. On the other hand, we lag behind developed countries in many aspects of health care. So, it could just be an extension.

That's a big stretch. However, If it happened during Biden's presidency, I am 100% sure that MAGAs would have blamed it on him. You can't honestly say that they wouldn't. As it is, I think I've seen them blame it on Hunter!

I would say that any blame on Trump for the number of deaths is speculative. He handled the pandemic like he has handled everything in the last 40+ years - like a spoiled irresponsible child. But I can't say we would have had fewer deaths if someone else were President. We just don't know with any level of certainty.

I'd vote for her in 2024! I don't think she'll ever have a chance unless she becomes a little more moderate and less idealistic though. If she can do that without losing her spirit she might have a chance some day.

Americans were not specific targets. Second, the leak was most likely not designed to kill millions of people. And no, he didn't quite say all of that, but his words could easily be misinterpreted and I believe that was by design. He gave Fox News what they wanted to hear while allowing himself a hedge. That's not I want from an FBI director.

Torkelson hasn't been consistently good at AAA, so I can see some benefit to him getting more time down there. I think his spring training would have to be a disaster for them to make that decision though.
