He still has to get by this year. 1 + 4 = 5. I understand that he is good at working with Congress and that is important. You guys are a bunch of policy and congress wonks so you love Biden, but probably less than 10% of Americans even notice. Being able to communicate with the public and having the confidence of the people is also an important quality of a President. His popularity rating is very low and I fear his lack of skills in that area could make him lose to Trump. Fortunately, the majority of people hate Trump too, so Biden still has a good chance.

Maybe if enough people voted for an opponent, it might get the point across that people want more choices in the future. What would my vote for Biden accomplishe since he's going to win anyway? The argument that he's old is a legitimate one. If you look at Biden 10 years ago and Biden today, there is a huge difference. Everybody is different. Give him another five years and it will get worse. Elizabeth Warren is old too, but isn't showing it as much. Trump IS too old and, given his unhealthy life style, he is probably in more danger of a serious illness than Biden.

Biden IS old and he is a terrible communicator who will probably get worse over the next five years. He's an acceptable President and I will be voting for him in November without question, but I want to see better choices. I know Democrats are supposed to stay with the program and not even consider any other candidates, but I am not a Democrat and I am considering others.

I mailed in my vote for Dean Phillips because I am disappointed with the options presented to us. I was going to get a Republican ballot and vote for Haley over Dump, but couldn't bring myself to vote for a racism enabler. Biden is not all bad, but he is too weak of a candidate to be running unopposed. So, Phillips is mostly a protest vote, although I'd probably vote for him if he was a serious contender as well.

Yes, I have noticed they have gone the scrappy white guy route. I am not sure whether this is a league wide trend. It is possible that the Latin talent supply is waning a bit.

Sure, but if we are going to analyze Trump's presidency (which is a pretty absurd idea in the first place), intentions do matter.

I think the only motivation the super wealthy has is to keep people just educated and prosperous enough so they won't commit too many crimes against the wealthy.

I think he has been more moderate than most Republicans (which isn't saying much) on the abortion issue. He has belittled people like DeSantis on the abortion issue on multiple occasions. I also don't believe the list of conservative judges Trump's handlers gave him was designed to overturn Roe vs Wade. It was designed to protect big business interests and the wealthy, same as the tax cuts.

I don't think he cares about abortion one way or the other. He has most likely ordered many of them in his lifetime. He appointed judges that will support big business interests and protect the wealthy. That's his conservative side I guess.

He likes to talk tough, but his actions were often moderate compared to many on the right far right wing. Tariffs, bailing out farmers, stimulus checks (he wanted to give people even more in the fall), massive debt. He is a populist demagogue psychopath who will say and do anything to get himself re-elected.

He was never charged nor arrested. Not wanting him on the team because he might be a bad influence or a distraction is a legitimate criticism. Personally not wanting him on the team because he is a dickbag is also legitimate. However, I was also surprised to see Dickerson be so dismissive to the fan.

I was hoping they would make a serious run at Yamamoto. I am not sure if they did or not, but he was really expensive for an unknown. I hope they will have a bigger payroll next year, but I am fine with where they are at right now.
