I enjoyed giving him **** up to a point, but it got old. MarothforMVP, on the other hand, was kind of scary.

The biggest problem with Greene was his 29% k rate which is huge for someone with a .109 ISO. I think he'll improve on that next year, but that's an ugly k rate.

I do think thre are some fans who have overstated Greene's performance last year, but that might be because the rest of the team was so horrible. I will say though that Greene did significantly better than Torkelson offensively .

Not really, but Baddoo is a better prospect than LOL. Unlike Clemens, he is young and still has potential.

One of Hinch's strengths in his first year with the Tigers was supposedly his manipulation of the roster and his influence over construction of the 25-man roster over the course of the season. You can't really give him credit for that if you are saying that the next year was Avila's fault because he didn't give him anyhing with which to work.

I think Rolen and Whitaker are pretty similar. Very good for a long time, but never superstars. Rolen did have 9.2 WAR in 2004, but it was driven, in part, by a huge defensive year which may have been a fluke. I am also surprised he got in, because he is not the type of player the BBWAA usually notices.

You are younger, so it makes sense to stay in the market, although there are no guarantees.. Some of us are at an age where we might need our money sooner rather than later. It took 8 years to recover from the 2000 crash. I can't afford that risk now Thus, I am putting money I think I'll need for the next 10 years into CDs and keeping longer term money in the market.
