Unenrolled voters can vote in either primary in Massachusetts and I intend to vote in the Republican primary for the candidate with the best chance of beating Trump and DeSantis.
I remember when everyone was using that. I know it was just slang but it never made sense to me. Pitchers don't shove the ball. They fire it. They throw smoke. Even "dealing" makes some sense because is suggests smart pitching.
Always draft the best player available. I personally have a strong bias for drafting hitters over pitchers with early picks, but I really doubt any GM is worried about positional value.
Nothing is going to happen to him. He'll just get the signal that he can continue to do anything he wants and he'll do something bolder the next time. Hopefully, it will be after an election loss rather than a win.
While I disliked both the Leflore and Thompson trades at the time, I definitely miss thoses types of deals. Now, it seems like every trade is some wealthy team trading it's non-favoriote prospects for an expensive veteran.
