It's amazing how people keep talking years of control remaining for relievers. Odds are they'll all be hurt before they'll qualify for free agency. I am always in favor of relievers being shopped by non-contending teams.

I had forgotten about that. I didn't really blame him. It is just the one play in a very frustrating game that stands out the most for me.

I agree. He was one of those players that I liked from the beginning, but I found myself criticizing him a lot because he became so overrated. Unforunately, my lasting image of him is his missed DP ball in extra innings in game 163. It wasn't an egregious error, but it was a play he makes 9 of 10 times. I was sure he was going to get the ball and my only question was whether he could turn two to win the game.

They can just replace him with a couple of multi-position guys that can't hit. First, the Tigers were going to be the new Houston Astros, but the became the Royals instead. Then they tried to be like the Rays and are still like the Royals.

I don't think it's that simple. Most people either don't follow this stuff as closely as we do or they have been inundated by right wing media and receive completely different information than us. They don't even realize that he attempted to overturn the election because it has been pounded him into them that it was the Democrats who stole the election. They think we are the naive ones. This is not a small extremist group of individuals. It's probably at least 100 million people.
